Idk if it's an unpopular opinion or not. I've played since 3 months before legion pre patch but.
Legion was the best expansion at making the best wow lore in existence. Pre-patch, Zones, Suramar, Light questlines, Balance of power, Tomb of sargeras arc, Argus, hell even the class hall campaigns. All of it was a masterpiece and I consider it one of if not the best parts of my entire childhood. I really hope we get another amazing lore expansion like Legion in the future. And Suramar is the best zone in wow in my opinion.

The invasion of the Legion, the rep grind of Suramar, the creation of an army and the empowering of your artifact, the battle of Nighthold, the resurrection of Illidan, the battle in the Tomb of Sargeras, the death of Kil'Jaeden, Argus in the sky, building the Vindicaar, the first incursion to Argus, meeting Turalyon and Alleria, the siege of Antorus and of course, the sealing of Sargeras and the breath of relief of Velen.
This was absolute peak WoW's epic storytelling.

They still took an L on this expansion by not reuniting Tyrande and Mallfurion with Illidan before he left. As i was playing was expecting them at some point to have some kind of mission where they fight toghter instead of the flashbacks
