The Vikings had mastered the art of splitting wood in such a way that they made planks by splitting the trees. It was a common way of working wood in primitive cultures. Even for the making of bows.

Wow, I’ve read this book many years ago, but I don’t remember how thought provoking it was. I needed to listen to this again, just at this time in my life. This story touches so deeply into my life. Thank you for sharing it!

Such a good book, a lot of memories. This was one of my favorite books from my childhood, I have read it couple of times and it never gets boring. I love the reader as well, you did such a good job, thank you.

Penguin English library version doesn't have chapters! Felt very difficult to continue and sought this and just got to know book comes in chapters.
