3135 AD who the knows what will happen i think she merged with the alien. So, its like the complete opposite of a xenomorph. Instead of the alien popping out of a human or animals belly in this case we can our of one of their exoskeletons. I mean almost a thousand years has passed. It sounds more like denial to me. The aliens didnt want to kill her or let her die but at the same time they kind of figured that she would never accept her new anatomy.
They ( the aliens) they didn't want to play God by erasing her memories or force her to accept what she has become. That's why aliens are better than humans because we force our traditions our ways of life upon other people or worse we enslave which is not what the aliens were doing here. Either or she has one overactive imagination! Or maybe she was just dying because the cyro was malfunctioning.

Hoping for a part 2. Have an inclination that the banging thunder is actually her pounding on her own cryo tank from the outside, while 1 rendition of her consciousness experiences it from the inside. I suspect the taloned creature is somehow future her. Im going to be super disappointed if we get no resolution to this one!
