Child 44 should definitely be in this list. Excellent film, beautifully acted and gripping story. Stuart a life Backwards was the first Tom Hardy film I ever watched. Difficult at times, but the gamut of emotions portrayed by Tom are exceptional. Ever since watching that movie I've been hooked by him. Tom is incredible in Legend (playing both Kray twins, Stuart a life backwards (nominated for a Bafta) and Locke - who else could spend an entire movie sat in a car and keep us engrossed ( it was written/directed by Steven Knight who wrote Peaky Blinders and Taboo which helps? He's so talented and not afraid to take on unusual roles.

Am i the only one that associate Tom Hardy with Cilian Murphy? they have a lot of roles togheter (Peaky Blinders, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk and maybe others that idk about) and the roles are similar, plus they are both amazing actors who never fail to show the emotions perfectly

the best of Tom hardy was ( warrior) I am a guy that has alllll respect for the troops and he played that small piece well and being loyal to his brother in arm those are his real brother the man fighting beside you hand down followed by peaky blinders
