Good bad and ugly is definitely my favourite so agree there. Clint eastwood westerns could easily be all top 5 with the Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider etc.
The rest are pretty good but i think Once Upon a Time in the West is a bit overrated. I haven't seen Red River for some time but i remember it was ok but in a dated style, but all john wayne movies are, thats unavoidable. Rooster cogburn was entertaining, as was True Grit. Shane, the Magnificent seven, the Quick and the Dead. Not to mention all the Terrance Hill and Bud Spencer greats, My Name is Nobody etc. I think one of the most terrifying cowboys (i was only a kid when it came out, ok) was Yul Brynner in Westworld.
