Wow, no 'Silent Service', 'Victory at Sea', 'Flight', 'World at War', etc. etc. All far better and more accurate. I'm guessing your about 25. I enlisted in 1971.
Nothing for me here. buh-bye.

Band of Brothers was not inspired from Saving Private Ryan but the book from Stephen Ambrose. Read the book, watch the series and you will appreciate it 1000x more.

The Clips of Das Boot are from the original Miniseries. The sequel is a Sky One production first aired in 2018 and is set in 1942 not near the end of the war.

Band of Brothers is so ridiculously good I've watched that series over and over again. They need to do another series like Band of Brothers!
