Have you ever thought of why cars dont have ejection seats? Fighter planes, for example, do have ejection seats. Theyre necessary, but only as a last resort. With fighter jets, things can go wrong when youre flying with hazardous materials on board. Ejection from a jet is relatively fast. It only takes two seconds from the pull of the handle to the deployment of the parachute.
As for cars, they are already equipped with a lot of safety measures. Youve got your airbags, your seatbelts, your traction control. Amongst many others. But what about ejection seats? Actually, its an unpleasant experience, to put it lightly. It might sound fun in theory, almost like riding a rollercoaster, but its not.
