If you can dream it, you can doll it. Special thanks to Azita Gonzalez! HeartAndSeoul: Thank you for talking about why they exist. Its really important for people to know these facts before they judge and make fun of something they dont know about. Ive seen people be so cruel when they find out about reborns and say so many rude things about the people who have them. Theyre amazing for older people/people with Alzheimers and people whove lost their baby and need them to cope. They are even great for the people who make them to cope as well. People really need to realize that just because you dont know about something doesnt make it strange. I myself dont have one, and I hope I never need to own one. So next time you see an adult with a doll(even a non reborn because yes theyre extremely expensive) try not to be so mean.

I get that people use these for a substitute of a real baby after a loss, but wouldn't volunteering at a hospital to rock babies, especially the drug addicted babies, help as well? It's giving love to a real infant who needs comfort and needs to feel safe. Or, if being around real babies is too difficult, why not foster dogs and/or cats. Many are sick and need the extra attention and love.
There are so many babies and animals who need help, where an inanimate object will not benefit from the attention.

this video didn't answer my one question. why the fantasy dolls?
they said sometimes for cosplay, and i was like, obviously, but they said some people use the fantasy ones for nurturing and what not. And that's what i want to know about. I can think of a ton of different reasons someone might want a non human baby, but none of them hold weight. They're all just things i randomly thought up. I would have liked if they actually answered the question so I could understand instead of just guess.

I'm a collector of both regular and alternative reborns. They help me with my depression and anxiety. Sometimes I'll take one out with me when I go to appointments or shopping. They bring me comfort and joy, via allowing me to indulge in adorable cute baby things and babydoll-cuddles. I also own an elven-baby, and seahorse hybrid. And two magnificent creations by Azita; Calypso, a Squidling & Rainbow, a rainbow Kersmudgeon (made from the Calliope and Jingle kits, sculpted by Cindy Musgrove.

I once met someone with a hyperrealistic werewolf baby. It had a lot of weight to it like a real baby and you could tell someone put a lot of work into making it, with individual hairs carefully placed. She told me how much it cost, but I don't remember. I just remember it being A LOT.

Reminded me why I still want a reborn. when you have a choose between having an emotional support animal or a reborn doll? For me its a no brainer, I simply cannot afford an animal right now. I will be working to get one for helping me to keep my anxiety and depression in check.

I desperately want a reborn doll I lost my daughter 6 years ago and ever since then I've wanted one of these dolls specifically a little blond girl I know it would help me tremendously just to be able to hold one whenever I'm having my hardest moments

0: 51 oh thank god! I was so worried when I saw them on Instagram three days ago thinking someone was painting their babies for hours then the poor babies went to sleep from exhaustion. Seriously it was a worry I did not need being 33 weeks pregnant.
