Also, cats ALSO expel a mucous plug not long before they go into more active labor. And while most are fairly quiet, some cats scream and howl in pain while they're pushing and relax after each baby is born. Its crazy to watch.

27. 5 hours for my son. My water broke before dinner no contractions. My doctor had done a stretch and sweep the day before because I was 39 weeks and baby was expected to be about 9 lbs. They ended up chemically inducing me and I was not progressing. After 26 hours and only 3 cm I started having a fever and tachycardia issues and had to have an emergency c section to save me and my son. He was perfectly fine, me not so much. But he was worth it.

after this video I think I know the pains of pregnancy and labor. I wanted to keep in mind that this isnt even the worst part, this isnt the most painful part. I think we all underestimate just how strong a mother is. And we underappreciate our mums so much.
(I cried during this vid and had an hour long rant to my mum about how grateful I was for her and she just told me to shut up cause she was tired but I diGress-)

Birth story? Sure. but youre going to hate me after it. my total labor was 3 hours and 10 minutes and 45 minutes of that was delivering the placenta. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you choose to look at it, I was already in hospital thanks to my waters breaking at 31 weeks, my daughter was born at 32 weeks. shes now a perfectly healthy 23 year old.

My mom told me that when she had my sister, they had to cut her uh. opening gate in order to keep on pushing without it being ripped apart. But she was in so much pain that she coudnt even feel the cut.

Ive taken a human development class, and the fact that you felt everything is so saddening. Pregnancy is one of the most scary things ever. Congratulations on making it through 3 TIMES HANNAH.

Am I the only one who was terrified the way they handled the newborn baby? I was completely shookt because before when I hold a baby. I'm not even sure if I should breathe

Stories like this are good to share so younger women realize what it is really like. Not everyone just pops babies out easily. It can be hell & pitocin is the DEVIL!
