Pasta Chef Reviews Microwave Pasta Rhiannon: Brands like Healthy Choice, Smart Ones and Lean Cuisine are supposed to be more healthy, lower in calories, fat and sodium so they are naturally going to be less flavorful. If you're eating them and don't need to watch your salt intake, you can add some salt (and pepper to them) yourself. Granted, they could add more of other types of seasonings, I don't know why they don't do that. Maybe because they're afraid it will be off-putting to many people since everyone is different in what seasonings they like.
As for the lasagna, I hate how the edges get so hard. several bites out of every pan are rendered inedible because of that, and those types of meals are already pretty expensive.

I wish she didn't clump the healthier microwavables with the regular kind. I feel that's not fair comparison as typically the healthier ones will have less salt, fat and likely flavour
With the exception of the Pesto Tortellini's pasta, the healthier ones she evaluated mainly had the lack of seasoning issue

Such a genuine review. I think she said shes been a chef 7 years and normally (not always) but normally, when you see these sorts of videos people get quite funny about it and mark it down as its not restaurant quality but she respects it for what it is. I really liked this video!

Honestly I can never eat microwaved pasta or any other microwaved foods. I just can't. They seem kinda disgusting to me. This is food made in factories so I can't trust the quality. Luckily I have the privilege to eat home cooked healthy meals everyday.

I appreciate how in-depth she was. I think she needs to realize the healthy options like healthy choice or lean cuisine may seem like they need more salt because they probably tried to cut that down for their target audience.

A review video where the chef doesn't immediately curse foods to oblivion and actually takes time to point out specific problems and how they could've been improved?
I'm S H O O K

I was wondering why I was liking her and this video so much, her honest opinion? Her non negative critiques? Her chillness? Ohhhhh she's from Boyle heights. Ok thats why

Most chefs become food snobs after theyve achieved culinary success but Im glad shes a real one and got down in the trenches with us regular Joes

It would be cool if she did a similar video to this again but actually tried to fix the meals to make them a 10/10 (or close to)
