This assumption is kind of wrong, thanos lost because of tony Stark. When thanos stabbed tony Stark in the stomach, thanos actually thought to kill tony Stark but strange asked for Tony's life in return to time stone. And thus tony sacrifice in the end. Tony might have sacrificed himself more than one time if he doesn't get killed by thanos. Doctor Strange saw that the only one possibility to kill thanos is to keep tony Stark alive. That is the only reason why he even didn't had a second thought while giving away time stone. According to strange, time stone's safety is much worthy than everyone's life even tony stark. But after seeing all the possibilities he decided to loose time stone to save the other half of the world.

Part abt Tony's sacrifise doesn't make sense, It might be because of his sacrifise, yes he might have sacrificed himself in the other battles bt whts to say those sacrifices were efficient then, maybe the one in endgame differs from other sacrifices making it the only time they win, sure the change of thanos' vision is a great theory, but was a win possible without iron man? his snap
-iron mans sacrifice, we need to know why they failed last time(Star lord) why they won in Endgame, knowing u lad this will be a walk in the park
Bcs i think tony was going to sacrifise himself either way in infinity war, the only difference is the timing and events of wht actually gave him the chance to do it in endgame,

Thanos's character change still hardly has any correlation to his loss, it just makes him as a villain more vicious. And the logic behind this being that the one thing that won them the fight is that the other factors such as Tony's sacrifice likely having happened in the other universes is just a weak argument. You could also assume the same for Thanos's character shift, because it's unlikely that this is the only reality where he saw his own death when the records were so easily accessible to him. The better argument would be that there were multiple factors that had to come together for them to win that clearly had to have happened in a specific sequence. Like maybe Cap never learned to wield Mjolnir, etc.

I don't know tho, thanos lost like once in Dr. Strange's vision but in other canon MCU materials he lost multiple times (against Ultron, against darkhold dr strange) so dr strange's vision in IW only look for the possibilities in their universe? But all the possibilities of thanos winning should occur in multiverse as well, right? Maybe dr strange vision when he said they only win once against thanks from 14 million other possibilities is only the condition when the avengers as a team (with several sacrifices) win against thanos, not ultron (obviously no avengers) or illuminati (no avengers) winning. Damn I answered my own question I'm so dumb

This is a great video. It's fine to assume that Thanos changing his exact goal is a factor to contribute in the victory of Avengers. But I choose to believe that the combination of possibilties required more elements for the desired solution. For example - survival of the right set of superheroes with intellectual, physicial and cosmic properties to revert the doing of Thanos. It is hard to imagine that the result of the snap by Thanos vanished the same characters in every possibility. It's arbitrary as far as I can think, because if it were Thanos making a choice about survivors, he'd perhaps not choose the original set of Avengers.

Thanos lost because when he was merciful while keeping his EGO in check that helped him keep a clear mind and he paid attention to EVERY detail. In Endgame however, he did not have a clear mind because of his EGO (where he was offended that the avengers timetraveled back in time basically CHEATING to beat him) to which as we all know when we are hot-headed we often don't pay attention to every detail and we become arrogant, which is the UGLY side to our EGO. THIS is the reasons he LOST!

No. no. no. that's okay but not good enough. not profound enough. did Thanos really think the other half would be grateful? That's dumb. and seeing himself getting killed was enough for him to embrace the belief that the universe is doomed. let's just make another one. Bullsh-t!
It's no more about what's better for the universe. it's about him now. it's about whether he'll recieve a 'thank you' for his service. that is so dumb!
Endgame was a sh-tshow. It destroyed everything.

Actually if Dr Strange could have taken back the time line using the time stone to the moment just before Star lord was bashing thanos and stopping him then the new Avengers team would have definitely defeated Thanos after removing the Infinity Gauntlet from his hand. Anyways if this was done then there was no need of the End Game movie. So that's the real reason why Thanos was shown winning so many times.

That's a good clickbait But also crap reasoning.
You can't believe Tony Stark only sacrificed himself once in 14 million times. I can't believe they were only able to grab the infinity gauntlet and snap it once in 14 million times. Or Thor missed 14 million times.
It's a movie. There's a shit ton of plot armour. And that's just how they are. Stop making up more bs to justify bs. Geez
