You played Shadow of the Colossus too!
How long did this take to make
I replied to a comment below from henryA, so I thought I would post it here also. I noticed the Half-Sword technique - do you all practice medieval swordsmanship Nice detail!
From my other reply:
This is a nice detail. Many sword warriors grabbed the blade of their swords in the German medieval and renaissance traditions especially. See Paulus Hector Mair and Talhoffer also. It is called half-sword (halb schwert, iirc) and combatant knights in full plate armor used it extensively like a mini-spear for delivering strong thrusts to weak points in the opponents armor, such as the visor slit, the armpits, and into the wrist from the back of the gauntlet.
You can also check out Christian Henry Tobler's book, Secrets of German Medieval Swordsmanship if you are so inclined.
Cheers

I came up with the idea for a short at the beginning a robot is lying on the ground in a pile of debris he comes up out of the debris it looks around pure devastation Humanity wiped out by atomic war then he starts his journey and gradually he meets up with more robots no humans are ever found at the end there's standing looking up at the stars in the night sky you can use your creativity for the rest of it

wow that was really bad animation of that giant - He is moving too smooth while turning considering his weight and too laggy in other scenes.
And story wise - why did she killed him if he wasnt even trying to attack her. I dont see any comaprison to David and Goliath fight being reasonable here - unless she is goliath and she killed David without any reasons.

Honestly, this could be just because I'm a huge titanfall fan, especially Titanfall 2, but I was expecting Goliath to end up acting as something similar to BT-7274, and I couldn't help but feel sympathy towards the giant rock-covered robot (is it even a robot) as it died. But that could just be the effects of recently finishing Titanfall 2's campaign.

The proverbial Asian sword-wielding female warrior slaying a giant cybernetic beast which inexplicably moves in slow motion, apparently has zero compunction to protect it’s on existence and after allowing her to terminate it, she lands harmlessly after falling from a lethal few hundred feet in height.
Edit: Tedious concept.

She ran right into its hand and almost died, for no reason, then it let her stab it in the eye for. and she jumps into the eye where you think its like a portal or something but it isn't and then for some reason she falls 20 stories and rolls out. this is not good. cool monster but nothing made any sense here.
reply

Details count. A bird flying through the air doesn't have its legs down like it is standing on the ground, they are tucked right up next to their body. Then what kind of sword warrior is going to grab the blade of their sword
reply

Dust writes in futuristic realm where robot rocks roam, they write this just so this fantastic genre short movie can be displayed. It is not sc-fi.
Imdb synopsis: A young swordstress battles a giant rock monster.

reply

So a bunch of scared, superstitious people go hunting giant creatures who just want to be left alone. They're hostile toward humans, because humans keep attacking them for no apparent reason.
reply

I liked the very beginning with the spires, but then it looked like a set. Why would futuristic robots look like rocks But a lot better than I could do. You should be proud of it.
reply

strong, resourceful, and intelligent women who have the mobility and courage to take an independent stand when the opportunity presents itself to fight even a mountain of rock!
reply

It's shit. Don't have to sugarcoat anything. No hardship, no struggles, no grow. Heck, not even a story or continuation of events. CGI looks also wonky. No, thank you.
reply

Great bit of sound, music, cgi and action, but why would this immensely powerful giant be in the slightest bit interested in the flea-sized woman
reply

the cyclops moves like clay stop motion figures from old movies, the movement is too fast and choppy. Do you even watch your own productions
reply

And just like Shadow of the Colossus, this has no plot or explanation at all. :) Regardless, it made me nostalgic and I really enjoyed it.
reply

for those asking about story, this story is about king David and, monster Goliath, whom David killed with just one attack, mentioned in old testament.
reply

I don't get it, one moment she's in free fall and the next she's got a rope in her hand that somehow helps her survive falling like 100 feet.
reply

Wow, the sheer audacity.
So now it's totally fine to just steal a random fight scene from a videogame, and pass it off as a short film

reply

What a horrible person, that Goliath was just minding its own business and she stabbed it in the eye; -) my only real criticism is birds feet.
reply

As an exploration of mixing largely different scales, it was a hit and miss. Some parts were good, some parts could use a little work.
reply

Concept is interesting. Special effects, not that great. You could practically see the wires when she jumped as it was so straight-lined.
reply

A total piece of crap waste of time for the creators AND us viewers. Next time, warn us that it’s just another Godzilla ripoff.
reply

I thought she was going to help it remove that huge Stick from the top of it's wrist. then again, that's what I get for thinking.
reply

So the Goliath doesn’t recognize a threat to himself Here, why don’t you just stab me in my one eye, give me a break.
reply

Yeah, I don't think I can suspend the disbelief. People need to buy into the story before the story can become interesting.
reply

Why would the giant bring her closer to it's one weakness. Suicide. Didn't make sense to me. Nice work though.
reply

This did not explain why Goliath was the bad guy and deserved to be brought down. This was a waste of my time.
reply

I think there's an old quote, the world's a critic. It was short. It had depth. It told a story. I liked it!
reply

Terrible. Face it, we live in a prison camp. In G-d I trust. Not completely, just mostly. What more proof do you need
reply

. a pitiful vision of victory as she lay dying from the monster's initial missed strike. Lol - girls!
reply

No story, terrible effects, and no context. Dust certainly is accepting anything from anyone these days.
reply

Not good. Not even a battle. Would have been better if she realized the giant needs help.
reply

Enjoyed this, but why attack the goliath Now need more, would make a good series I think
reply

I want to see more of this story. Please make parts 2 and 3. Looking forward to more.
reply

Sorry but that was terrible, the creatures design was cool but everything else ehh no
