Trippy and well acted, though how a brain/memory chemical can induce actual time travel is a bit unanswered. I thought he was trying to recover the memory of what had happened in that room however long ago, not actually recover the baby. Nor was it clear what happened the first time around exactly. Did the parents go crazy or get robbed and the baby (and mother) killed

Whose baby was it The baby clearly wasn't even 1% his. I don't get the plot of this film. Everything in the movie, before revealing the baby, suggested it was HIS baby. The movie totally failed to establish what friend, etc. he was attempting to help by saving/sheltering the baby.
