Had some good timing spots. But had some awful spots like making sure to throw the chair wide so he doesnt get hit. That stood out really bad and the breaking the bottle came off the everybody does it check list. Its more of a demo real than a short film.

Yeah that fight scene was off the chain, the best I've seen in a very long time. I watched it several times. And the musical score was on point as well.
However, I did marvel at the lone commando, I'm surprised he did NOT have a hidden blade on his persons somewhere, so as to extricate himself, like when he got into trouble on the floor just before getting his arm dislocated.

Nice action, good fight scene, and creative twist having the captive woman save the guy who came to rescue her! I knew the ending as soon as the IV drip came out, but it was still fun to watch. Although I didn't expect her to _feel_ the gunshot herself. Nice touch.

dust has some pretty good videos I mean short films. but how do you like when there's never really an ending or any moral I don't think people like the future is dangerous. at least that's their moral that I've always seem to be hearing.

What garbage. Almost no effort put in to hinting at what is underneath it. Don't give a damn about childish pap like fight choreography. A real disappointment compared to a lot of the really intriguing pieces on Dust.

This reminds me of an abstract painting, you know, where canvas is painted white with one black dot in the middle an a slightly torn corner. It was only 5 minute long but but I had to skip forward to see how it ends.

Amazing fight scene! Dust does action shorts as well, it seems! That bloke who bust through the door has pretty terrible aim with his gun, just like in most films! LOL! The music fits the scene perfectly.

I pretty much had the entire thing predicted in the first 15-20 seconds. and it was still a great bit of film. Kind of like a sunset - you know it's coming but it is still a thing of beauty.

Great fight scene. Just. at 1: 37 I'd think the afro-hair dude, as an excellent fighter, would see the trajectory of the chair being way-off and gave the bald dude a couple bullets already.

Just 2: 55 into and realized that may have been the best fight scene ever! Not sure if all the DUST was a factor. OH YEA. DUST was the only real factor! DUST rules. Period.

In my film editing class we are editing together the raw footage of this video. My cut is very different to this, despite using the exact same clips. Pretty interesting.

Damn! I knew the white shirt dude was one of the bad guys, but since he was the focus/protagonist for most of the film it felt bad to see him go down.

This is how you don't reveal any plot and still hook your audience. A lot of these short films are visually impressive and not much else.

One minor quibble; the bald guy is forced to off himsel with a shot to the head, yet there’s no blood. Other than that, verr impressive.
