1. sonic 4 episode 1: one of the worst sonic games ever and the second worst 2D sonic game for me only behind blast on game gear
2. sonic 4 episode 2: overall just a self aware version of ep 1, kinda dont like it but not despise it, episode metal is just nostalgia bait
3. sonic colors: so far my fourth favorite sonic game, the story was more on the comic relief side of things, the game feel solid in the 3D space thought the 2D ones are more stiff, the wisp was a nice edition but my main gripe is the boss line up which dont do good job as pivot point for changing difficulty, as for colors ultimate yeah a pretty mediocre remake dont have much else to say
4. sonic generation: my third favorite sonic game, a nice way to make classic sonic into a character, the story not the most polished but idea on paper was nice, gameplay and fan service are great I just wish there was DLC or more levels at launch
5. sonic jump: not much to say is simple and nice mobile game at the time, though keep in mind I see modern mobile gaming in a very negative POV
6. sonic dash 1&2: they good games, sure they have the same shticks of mobile games but isnt to exetreme levels like other mobile games I know
7. sonic boom: pretty good show have a bit of an identity crisis to the demographic it want to target but it was nice, not my favorite TV show adaptation of video games franchises that will go to kirby right back at ya and castlevania but I guess hit on the good side of things is not bad
8. sonic boom rise of lyric: oh boi I maybe was merciful to O6 but this not goes to rise of lyric, this game made out of spite, is buggy, isnt belong on the wii us hardware for being a cry engine game, and is feel repetitive, with O6 I see potential but this was a mess from start to finish
9. sonic boom shattered crystals: nice idea, execution not the best, story is one of the dumbest is not the best sonic game out there but it didnt deserve the rating it got I mostly belive it was from rise of lyrics effects
10. sonic boom fire and ice: alright I guess, kinda better than shattered crystals in some cases but the fire and ice idea felt like an afterthought
11. sonic lost world wii u: pretty ok not hate nor love it, story, gameplay and characters feel ehh, solid presentation though sonic stiff movement not giving him any favor, feel like sega trying to take page out of mario galaxy and new super mario bros
12. sonic lost world 3DS: a bit better than the wii u one but not by much, boss line up feel a bit more polished, level design slightly more intresting but something that apply to both lost worlds that the wisps just there in the game
13. sonic runners and runners adventure: ok games not much else to say, nice gameplay but the gacha stuff damage expirience, yes I didnt play the games I should say this but that my overall POV on it\r\n

8: 34 this is still a huge problem because few people who played it. Made mods of this on every moddable games. The modder of Friday Night Funkin' made one in that game and most people who made other mods are getting ignored by that and they were pretty upset because most of the good mods of FNF were underrated because of the Sonic. exe mod.
15: 56 that gameplay in the background. There were a cancelled Sonic game that planned to used back in the 90's that was called Sonic X-Treme for Sega Saturn. It was cancelled due to Framerate issues, a lot of lack of delays, and 2 developers were having a fatal ill which they ended up leaving the studio. The game was planned to be released before Christmas but then got replaced by Sonic 3D Blast that was in development for the Genesis/MegaDrive that time

Despite Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric being considered one of the worst games in the franchise, it was the game that introduced me to the Sonic franchise. From that point on, I instantly got hooked onto Sonic the Hedgehog.
Think that was weird? The Boom designs for the characters look cool. (IMO, VERY UNPOPULAR OPINION)

I feel like people dunk on Rise of Lyric a bit too much. Sure the game isnt great, but i think there are a handfull of games that I belive are worse. (Looking at you 3D Blast)

Sonic lost world got a bad wrap. The story isn't good but sonic isn't know for its incredible storytelling. The gameplay is what matters and its super fun and engaging. I made sure to download the DLC on my wiiu before the eshop closes and even the dlc is super fun.

fun fact: in my home country i know an arcade place which has a. mario and sonic london olympic games arcade cabinete and an arcade port of sonic dash which uses a huge d-pad to move and jump! sadly. the d-pad was unresponcive. and i wasted my money! gReaT!

You didn't mention that choosing Classic or Modern Sonic completely changes the gameplay between 2D side-scrolling and 2D/3D hybrid. For example, that means you can play Green Hill as a modern stage or City Escape as a classic stage. It's wild.

For Christmas 2010, one my cousins got me Sonic colours DS and I'd completed it by August 2011. Thanks to her, I got interested in Sonic and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her. I also watched the sonic boom series in 2016

Fun Fact: in February 21st and March 26th of 2013, the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World got Zelda and Yoshi themed zones as DLC. The Zelda one was titled: The Legend of Zelda Zone, and the Yoshi one was titled: Yoshi-s Island Zone.
