Not for Christmas, but for my birthday.
My dad didn't know about ESRB ratings. So he bought Batman: The Telltale Series thinking, -Oh, my son loves superheroes, I should buy him this game.-

My mom noticed the M rating on the box and said I couldn't play the game.
Flash forward to my eleventh birthday and I traded in the game SEALED at GameStop. I got $13.
Terrible in the short term and long term.

Thinking back on it, as a kid my family didn't have much, but I would be happy if there was one matchbox car under the tree. Hell, I might even be ecstatic. But even though I am a gamer I would be disappointed if I got the new $60 game. I am not saying this to sound ungrateful, I am saying this because my parents had to work their asses off.

I used to look forward to xmas as a kid only to get clothes instead of toys... Sure my parents didn't prank me and put them in a box of something I actually wanted... But the disappointment was just the same... No kid anywhere wants to be gifted CLOTHES...

When I was younger, I'd play a lot of Poke'mon games. So my aunt thought it'd be a good Idea to get me some cards. I like Pokemon cards, they're pretty cool. But she made a mistake and got me Yu-Gioh cards. I don't even know what Yu-Gioh is. -
