I have major respect for Paramount going back and making these changes because those changes cost money they might not get back. This also shows that this isn't entirely about money for them. They fixed the product. Yes, I will go see it and no I am not a child, I am a nostalgic fan.

Yes I will go see it. Even though it is made for kids I will see it because they listened. That is a BIG deal. I don't like Jim Carry but I WILL still go see it. I only see one or two movies a year but I will go see it because they listened. That is so rare I might just go twice.

Sonic was apart of many ppl's childhood so imagine a lot adults will see it on their own. Also it usually weird when producers try to make animated (& robotic) character look realistic.
The only time I think it worked was with Alita. Even then it was kind of weird, purposely.

Honestly, after hearing the phrase -It-s for kids- or -It-s made for kids- so many times in media (especially in this decade) that-s become a pet peeve of mine.
Especially since most forms of media nowadays treat kids like idiots.

All they had to do was re-skin the character and re-insert him into all the footage. Once the skin was redone it was all computers doing exactly what they did with the original version.

That's a good point that they had to make him more cartoonish. I think the problem was that the original was way too far into uncanny valley territory.

Paramount: Listens to fans who grew up playing the Sonic games and learns from mistakes
Other companies: Wait, that's illegal!

Whether the movies good or bad we should all pay to see it. That way maybe future movies will follow suit when they see profits
