I love the game for the most part. I don't like the medal system. Rockstar is also being hypocritical in that they give you tools to craft health tonics, and you're able to cook food, but every single mission : don't use any health items. Another problem with the medal system is that it doesn't tell you what the objectives are nor do they have a checklist that pops up. Personally, I think if you have a pelt on the back of your horse and you die, then you should still have it; it makes no sense that you can keep perfect carcasses in your satchel after you die, but not perfect pelts. It's funny that Dutch expects Arthur to upgrade the camp, but also expects you to give money which is nonsense, so I stopped giving my debts. On the first mission where you rescue Micah from Strawberry, they should have made it where somebody else went and got him if you didn't go get him.

When you press triangle to get on your horse but you grab someone instead.
This happened in the most ironic way to me. I heard someone calling for help, I looked over and they were being mugged so I sprung into action, stopped my horse, hopped off, intervened, ran and tackled the mugger , disarmed him and then told him to get. The victim thanked me and offered me a reward which I declined like a true gent...walked back to my horse, pressed triangle to get on and I grabbed some lady from behind in a choke. I let her go (tossed her away) as soon as possible but 4 witnesses were already running away calling for the law. I got a $5 bounty and chased out of Saint Denis for my good deeds.

I agree with most of the problems that RDR2 have but I can tolerate them till some extent; where I lose my mind is with the gold medals and it's no about the challenges, it's because if you do something wrong by accident or because the game didn't respond you well, then you have to make all of five minutes of riding from point A to B.
I hate that Rockstar never fixed that and I have a lot of respect for people that got the trophy of the 70 gold medals when the game launch with the worst stats you could've had on a mission.

I keep saying that its good writing and charachter development if you hate a fictional charachter.
I wish leaving Micah in jail to be hanged was an option.
He reminds me if a few real life assholes I used to know. Selfish, arrogant, full of lies with a convenient shifting morality and really good at pretending he's not a POS in front of others.
The kind of guy that for some reason is irresistsble to your female friends who get mad when you point it out -.

for yall really latecomers reading the comments: I figured out how to fix the game changing guns on you. you have to go to your camp, to your weapons locker, and manually set there which guns to use. this is how you edit your default loadout. problem? every time you buy a gun, there's a chance itll reset/break/randomize your default loadout until you go back to camp and do it again.

My biggest gripe with this game is the incredibly slow animations. I dont have endless time to game. I have a full time job and a child. I dont need to watch Arthur take 10 GOD DAMN SECONDS to pick up every item. Theres immersion and theres over immersion, and this is obviously in the latter. Shit drives me crazy. Its completely unnecessary and slows the game down to a crawl.

I hate you can-t customize where you wear your holsters because I don-t like where the secondary holster is and I don-t like you can-t just change the direction of your primary holster or anything I also don-t like that you can-t change how you wear your gun belt because sometimes it doesn-t look good hanging low depending on your outfit

When people freak out when you ride your horse too fast past them, or when they act offended as if you're going to bump into them but you're a good metre away from them.
The horse galloping speed when just holding the X button is slower than in RDR1, meaning to contain a reasonable fast speed, you need to repeatedly hit the X button.

I hate how harsh and overly aggressive npcs are. And that's why I give no crap about high honor anymore

Not a fan of the gold through bronze rating system at the end of each mission. Let's me down when I completely dominate only to get silver because I didn't finish in 15 minutes or I took a health item.
