7 worst punishments for video game quitters

Bit of a piss off. It was 2 days later when I booted up the game and got a wag of the finger(and my 30 min cool down was obviously over), but it was enough to turn me off multiplayer games other PvE co op with fiends.
I get it, you-re in it for the money and it-s a business, but I don-t pay a bar tab so I can go there and work.
Never been hit with competitive cool down timer, just that half baked casual MP portion stuff.

Rage quitting is a time honered tradition in gaming. I remember playing Resident evil Resistance ones. Everyone playing were noobs (including me) and so I decided I could be the Mastermind (kind of like a Dungeon Master). I started to play and heard instantly people communicating via voicechat and they were level 40+, I was level 1. I started to play and almost didnt know anything about it and lost horribly. So I ragequit. Why would I spend time losing to people way better than me?
Its fine to rage quit ones in a while ;-)

Dota has the worst punishment for quitters. Apart from escalating time limits if you quit more then once for every 15 game you get sent to a low priority pool where you are paired with other quitters and forced to play a game mode where you can't even select your hero and you have to win 5 games to clear this punishment pool. They allow your friends to help you out but the mode is so bad that even your friends need a lot of convincing before they will come. This also happens if you get a lot of reports.

I think a great punishment for quitters would to have their quit in the other players hands. In say a 1v1 fighter, a prompt for the non-quitter pops up -So and so is running away, what do you do?- - then you can accept and a disrespectful finisher OR just let them sit by not hitting anything and waste THEIR time and not hit the button for say, 30 seconds.

Yeah it makes sense, no one wants to lose rage quitting or joining something you are supposed to take part in what you said you will play leaving it mid way is rude, like paying a bill you promised you will pay the bill but you got busy and couldn-t pay it or you don-t want to pay it now so you will leave-..you will be punished and that-s fair imo

In dark souls 2 your character has an item called a -bone of order-. If you disconnect too many times with an invader in your world, you have to use the item to be able to play online again. The only way to get another bone of order is to leave your character standing idle in the starting area of the game for 24 hours irl.

I dunno if it is in the video but in dark souls if you die and quit the game will remember that you died and you will die no matter what. Just a fun thing.
Its not really a punishment but the fact that the quitters wanted to avoid dying by quitting and achieved just that is funny.

In vainglory ( 5v5 moba ) if quite in rank mach you take bad karma ( bad rewards and you team mate the match didn't count for them and if you do it multiple times you must wait for start a match start with 1 min for 1 match up to 45min for 15 match that was super effective

more games need to do this manny off my multiplayer expiriences where ruined by quitters,wheter it was people from my team or an opponent in 1v1 games,its lame to take a beating when you lose but when you winnign you get a ragequitter xd

In casual Apex matches, there is no penalty for quitting that I'm aware of. So people wraith quitting happens often. I wish they would add a punishment for casuals aswel even just a small one or a wraith quitting lobby!
