Over the years, EA Games has earned a reputation for cancelling games and shutting down projects. Here are some cool ones that will never see the light of day fanjoy: EA could be making so much more money if they kept their best development teams, and would actually give these teams a chance to finish what they are creating. Especially when its blatantly obvious that fans are excited and the team is trying to do something new. That usually means that there will be a lot of money involved because fans are excited and will be willing to buy it, along with possible extra content. But what does EA do instead? Fire everyone on dev team. Liquidate a well received company of which they recently bought out. Take what ever progress was made and instead make something completely different that's not as good. Don't forget to add a ton of unwanted and annoying microtransactions. Then sit back and wonder why the community and customers are so annoyed and upset at what they've come out with. If they would just fire these idiot executives, put someone in charge who wasn't out of touch with gaming or technology(and the advancement there of), and just give these very good development teams what they need to bring their advancement to fruition. EA would make easily 2x the money. If they no longer had to pay these exec bozos, and instead focused on actually finishing a well made game... They would sell so many more copies at top price and extended content for that game. And yes there would obviously have some sort of micro-transactions. But please just get it out of our faces and don't make it the main focus of the game.

Can you imagine better off the gaming industry would be if consumers decided to boycott EA and in an act of desperation decided to listen to their consumer base, instead if constantly trying to rip us off and give us shoddy titles?
If only we could all band together and bring the most despised gaming company to heel and listen to our wishes for better, completed and enjoyable games that we all want.

Lol Spielberg talking about -level 17- shows he was pretty out of touch from games, at that point at least.
How about I cried during the cutscene when Clementine had to shoot Lee after all they'd been through? Lol get with it, old man. I didn't listen to when he said that, to be fair lol, but still.. Chrono Trigger had a good story too. What about all the Final Fantasy games?

I hate this. EA has succeeded _despite_ terrible management. Fifa and Madden make all the money in the world so they get away with terrible leadership that make all the wrong calls.

I think the game which was planned to be made in colab with Spielberg probably would have been like Detroit:Become Human but better as he was involved. Sad it didn't make it tho

I worked on NBA Live (Elite) 13, as a tester a ways back. It got canceled, and rightfully so... that game was so, so bad.
One of the few GOOD cancelations by EA.
