If Night Crows can pull off 1K player pvp battles I'll try it. I'll also eat my hat; to this day the only game that has achieved something remotely similar was EVE Online, every other MMO has given up due to server crashes and that includes WoW, which is the oldest and theoretically the most experienced team when it comes to such things.
As for Shadow of the Erdtree, well. if they give us an EXPANSION expansion, I will sell a kidney to get it.

Blight survivor looks fun.
But it's either I'm tripping or is almost no other zombie game set in the distant past?
Dead island, dead rising, dying light, resident evil, state of decay, last of us. All those zombie games are set in the present time where you have access to guns.
It would be so crazy if zombie games were set in the past more often. During the time where bow & arrows were the only long range defense you'd have. & all the rest of the weapons are melee only.
At least that would rise the fear level of getting surrounded by lots of zombies knowing you have to swing around some old ancient weapon in order to survive.
Most these other zombie games when we get surrounded. We just pull out a gun & we know we good.
Just my over winded opinion. I think zombie games set in the past before guns were made would be really fun & scary. Lol.

OK so you think the Witcher remake will be out this year. kinda big ask. especially if they intend to go all open world. I did hear Doug Cockle will voice Geralt (c'mon who else lol) I am looking forward to Gollum. I am now a stealth junkie. Sometimes the combat is just too much and too similar in many games. Then there's that Blight game(oh dear this is all coming from my playing a Plague Tale both games) But Geralt has my full attention, the King of one liners!

who decided that more ppl in 1 match is better? 1k player pvp to me sounds so useless, im pretty sure u wouldnt be interacting with the majority of the players even in an hour long battle. and imo it will make the game so much more 1 sided for the team that has less ppl leave/rage quit b4 the end. then if its skill based that raises more problems for keeping players playing it.

if any of these games have a single black character then it's not a very well made game
black people weren't around in medievil ages except for in their own countries, they had no iron, they had no steel, they had no clothes, they had no brick structures, they had no armies. They just ate bugs and weeds and lived on dirt.

The Lords of the Fallen is not in fact a sequel to Lords of the Fallen (the previous franchise game didn t have the The either ) and will probably be a drastic departure from the original, as it is a completely different dev, just using the title and souls-like inspiration. Also the original was NOT well received, I would say mixed at best

Mortal Shell is by FAR the best non-From souls-like. Surpassing even some From Soft titles. Nioh one is dog shit on PC. Terrible port, insultingly bad controls. And oh wonder, Wu long was 70 percent negative reviews on Steam on release. So looks like they still aren't great at making games.

Lords of the fallen reminds me more of mortal shell than the first lotf. I played like 5 minutes of lotf and HATED it. Too clunky and you got to pick 3 people. I made it to the first enemy and couldnt do it. Maybe i was wrong? Idunno either way game looks great, hope it plays even better

Speaking of HOLY HELL GRAPHICS! LOL! My son just showed me Battlefield 2042 and OH MY GOSH. I know there were ALOT of bugs at launch but that game has TRULY been polished up and is pretty dayum good now! Free to play too! WHAT? LOL. Ahem yeah now back to the Medieval stuff.

Few videos out there about FF16. If you're curious about the combat check out SkillUps video. Apparently it is basically full on action combat, doing away with the tactical moves from the remake. Which I am super happy about but I could see some being disappointed

Guild Wars 2 WvW is the best medieval thing I've ever played.
Hundreds of players setting up Trebs and catapults to take down walls of castles to capture and so forth.
Otherwise
Chivalry 2. It's like battlefield but way more dynamic and with swords

10: 13 Inquisition did a lot right but it did a lot wrong, after going through the series again it is IMHO the weakest one in the series. ALso Dreadwolf was/has been in dev hell for a long time, I doubt it's actually going to be any good at all.

Okay let's gets this straight, lords of the fallen was not well recieved and flew under the radar, if elden ring didn't do so well I doubt lords of the fallen would even be talked about right now, or even have the funding to be remade

Im really tired of medieval games, games set in the forest or old timey fantasy settings just don't do it for me (Unless you are Dragons Dogma. I wish there were 20 games that were set in Cyberpunk, futuristic or just regular city setting.
