10 best video game shotguns of all time

There might be better shotguns out there and better guns in their games but some of my favorites not listed are
The System Shock 2 Shotgun. I was so happy when I first got this because there was only one Shotgun in System Shock 1 (Literally) and it only used non-lethal ammo. 2's Shotgun was one of the most common guns in the game, and could use either lethal slugs or explosive buckshot.
Deus Ex: The Conspiracy Sawed-Off Shotgun. I usually go for a stealthy approach in this game but when sneakiness fails the Shotgun is the first thing I reach for.
Days Gone's Little Stubby. One thing this game taught me is when you're on a motorcycle with a zombie bear chasing you a nice sawed off Shotgun is your best friend.

The truth is payday one had the best shotgun of all time. Atleast on the PS3 if you had the shotgun it had unlimited range. The headshot on an enemy from across the map would do the same damage as the enemy standing in front of you and there was no bullet drop and the accuracy was 100%

Silver Shotgun in Call of Jurez Gunslinger is super good. It-s nothing fancy but it can take out most enemies in one shot and it just looks so cool. Also once you have the right perk activated it-s ammunition becomes unlimited during concentration.

yet again, Bungie's 90s masterpiece Marathon is forgotten. M2 had easily THE GREATEST SHOTGUN ever in a shooter. like MW2's dual wield except 15 years earlier, just soooooo badass

Super shotgun obviously ! But some of these should have been in this list : turok, duke nukem 64 ( different from duke nukem 3d) and hunt showdown's Romero shotgun -

its not entirely true, you can do the terminator relode with a gun like that, i just wouldnt do it with two of them, one in each hand, but with only one its possible

Really feel like the shotgun from Bioshock 1 should-ve been somewhere on this list. It-s phenomenal. Or even the one from Bioshock 2, not even a honorable mention

The Hellwalker in BL3 was supposed to be the super shotgun from Doom. Hence the name and the guitar sound that played with each shot

I refused to do the Reclaimer mission of Halo CE without the shotgun. That mission is too difficult to do without that gun
