On a side note, did you see the new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trailer? That game will probably suffer from competition from games like Metro Exodus, but I personally liked the concept of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games more. In fact, I always wanted a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game that was made with the gorgeous graphics and gunplay of the Metro series. With a bit of luck (& patience), that wish may finally come true.

I use Amazon, fill my save for later cart with games I-d like to play and occasionally check/wait for a major price cut before purchase. Usually you can get the definitive game for $19, just play your backlog. For anyone who wants to save some money, this works great.

If you are going to make a video game anything higher than $60 you should NOT have to pay for ANY Micro-transactions. If it-s a games as a service like destiny. Or elder scrolls online. It should be $60. It doesn-t matter if it-s only a $10 increase or not.

For Aeon Must Die, it wasn't _some_ of the creators, it was _all_ of the original creators. The amount of abuse these people faced was egregious and unless the IP is given back to them I cannot recommend anyone support such a slimy publisher or studio.

Let's look at current gen multi platform games on PC. Same price as consoles, superior graphics and mods, yet the prices have remained the same. Why now?

They are not going to add any brilliantly initiative ideas to their games for f-$# sake it-s a sports game. They are only raising the price to make more money to line the pockets of their shareholders, not for their overworked employees.

Game costs rising is inevitable, I don't mind paying $10 more if it means they can release a more polished game and develop newer stuff and do away with micro-transactions, but we all know that's not how it's going to go down.

For some people like me who live in countries when video game owner's right don't matter you can just download em from crotorrent without any worry.(sure no multiplayer, but better than nothing)
