Top 10 scary video game bosses (last 5 years)

Video game bosses often give us a fright, but only a select few are truly terrifying. Here are some of our favorites (SPOILER WARNING) poisenbery: The reason why the Flowey fight in Undertale is so surreal is because of the uncanny valley effect and it's inherent surrealism.
The boss, and elements of the fight, are all comprised of low resolution photos of IRL objects.
It looks like the upper portion is a picture of a worm and pictures of electrical conduit/sleeves.
The face is basically a forked tongue, which is already very unpleasant to look at, but they went an extra step and put teeth in the center gap.
The eyes are especially creepy because they drew over the irises

The Orphan of Kos crawls out of mommy Kos. Yep, that beached whale looking corpse is an Old One. She's got a lady's face kinda peeking out on one side, if you look closely enough.
She's the same Old One Micolash talks about during his monologue.

One boss that haunted me when I was like 12 was Dahaka from Prince of Persia warrior within. I guess it was the game that I stuck with for weeks and every day Dahaka was just around the corner.

Falcon trying his hardest to explain what these things are is hilarious. -It's like a slimey slime mold freaky weird unsettling gross thing made of flesh and nightmares.-

Ah the Orphan of Kos. Was super happy and accomplished when I beat this that thing. Also I just want to say it-s fitting that bloodborne had a fifth of the video

I've never fought any of those. But banshees from Fable 2. They're not really scary until you start listening to what they say, especially if you're character is evil.

Wait, so who was number 1? The graphic on Tyrant/Mr. X says BONUS and the wording seems to have been for an honorable mention. Think this was edited wrongly.

You probably hear this a lot falcon, but my girlfriend said you sound like Andy from the office. You really do sound like Andy from the office

Yeah another (Un)fun fact. In Blasphemous when your fighting the Baby it's not a snake your fighting but an detached umbilical cord. Yaz!

The creepiest boss I've ever saw, and no one ever mentioned is Evil Gaia from Grandia, and the music helps a lot make it more unsettling.
