Xbox Series S is designed for a very specific type of gaming consumer. Let's dive into what a Series S is and whether or not you should consider buying one Nico: so personally i have the series s right now but am getting a series X in the mail tomorrow!
and the reason why I made the upgrade it simply because I don-t know what the next few years will bring. Right now I game on 1440P Monitor with 144 Hz refresh. currently I don-t have any plans to make the upgrade to 4K because I-m quite satisfied with what I have. but considering how long of a wait time between console generations there normally is I figured why not make the upgrade to the series X in case I change my mind? At least then I won-t have to spend time Saving up for the series X because I already have it

I had the series s first and let me tell you 300 gigs is not enough Cold War takes up 130 alone forza 100 and any other big game at least 70 plus and they-re not gonna get any smaller I had to go buy the ssd just to have more then 2 games on my series s it-s not future proof and I don-t want to have to switch my games back and forth that-s an inconvenience I wanna jump right into it and also if you play older games if you want say black ops 2 for zombies or something the disc is like 10 bucks but it-s like 50 dollars on the Microsoft store

I bought both for $700. I bought the Series S straight up with cash and bought the Series X for $350 and a One S trade in. My 4K tv in the living will have the SX hooked up to it and my 1080 monitor in my bedroom will have the SS hooked up to that one. My only regret with the SS is the storage but that-s an easy fix. The load time is fast game resolution is solid and that one is for my kids and when I travel out of town. That Beast in the living room I will never leave the house.

I bought the Series S as my first console. I was a PC gamer, until I bricked my GPU just recently and sold off the rest of my PC hardware. Considering how much more expensive components are in my region, especially GPU, I went for the S! Good bang for the buck; it's sold at 400USD here. I don't care much for the graphics and performance tradeoffs at that price point. Now I have separate machines for games (the S) and daily computing (a Mac).

I'm only here because I still can't get a PS5. I've had my PS4 since 2014 and it's great but we're going to get to the point where future games will undoubtedly only be on the new consoles. If in a year I still can't get a PS5 then I'm just gonna forget it and walk into my local Walmart that always has at least 15 of these available.

I preordered a series x a couple of weeks ago, I see it as more 'investing' in that the console will have some exclusives that take full advantage of the hardware some time in the future. Plus since the last gen consoles were discontinued, I figured I might as well go all in on the current gen

The only reason why I-m thinking about getting the series s is because of how cheap I can get it and the fact that I can get one, my PS4 is pretty much on its last life and I can-t get my hands on a ps5 so I-m thinking of getting the series s but I-m not sure if i should or not

Honestly the all-digital thing is a massive dealbreaker for me. Even with how good the rest of the console is, used games are just not possible. And old games that I want to experience again can go for $40 digitally when they're worth $10. It's ridiculous.

while the X is not available for now and my struggle is storage between both don't know which one to get. Waiting for the big boy X with good storage or the S with less and might need a extra storage upgrade. The S is available now. HELP please!

Honestly unless it-s not in stock me personally I would get the series x because fps is good and for some games I like that but also a lot of game devs are saying ray tracing for there games will only be supported fore series x not series s
