Some PC games and specific in-game areas look absolutely amazing with Ray Tracing and other similar tricks. Feast your eyes on these Chloe: Daytime in cyberpunk without RT is so bland. Turning on the RT makes the sun react and play off of the dry concrete in the streets of the city in a way thats just more true to life. I only have an RTX2060 in my laptop with 1080-144hz screen, so I usually play with the games Forced Sharpening modded out, with only reflections RT and Quality DLSS. As long as effects like Sharpenening (modded out), Film Grain, and Chromatic Aberration are turned off (and a mod to increase the resolution of character screen and mirrors for V), then the DLSS is able to be more indistinguishable from standard Temporal Anti-Aliasing than in any other game I've played. Using DLSS to get higher framerates with 1080p being the target resolution is more telling than having a 1440 or 4k target, because the artifacts and flaws are low enough resolution for our eyes to easily pick up in certain parts, and I'm used to seeing those flaws, being on a simple $1,000 laptop and being pretty poor in comparison to most PC gamers - So Cyberpunk's graphics have been a nice treat for my system. Granted, I've modded the absolute hell out of it to fix everything I possibly could, though I only changed weather probability and rain textures when it comes to graphics.

Reshade mods and mods in general aren't really ray traced, they don't make use of a native API that allows it. Sorry dude but it isn't ray tracing, just baked lighting effects
Battlefield 5 - how the light hits the bricks is nothing to do with ray tracing, it only uses reflections.
Gameranx do not research anything whatsoever that they put out there, and this video is yet another example of this.

Don't mean a thing to me since I cant afford a any kind of RTX gpu since they start at 200000 of my currency. around 600000 start for the RTX 30 series. in comparison I can buy a bike and a car for the price lol. Hope they would come to msrp someday

This is like a Simpsons repeat of what happened in the rendering scene over a decade ago... Until some genius pointed out that Pathtracing is nearly as good without the performance cost...

When you talk about native support does that mean that your non-native examples are simply using screen space reshades and post-processed emulators like Pascal Gilcher's RTGI reshade?

I have an rtx3080ti ray tracing is the most useless feature. I liked dlss though only for downscaling as i run games at 4x native resolution and then downscaling

Officially not supported, yeah right. Thats the game that got me into ray tracing programming, I just didn't know how the tech was named, back in 2016 lol.
