Because yeah Xbox Series and playstation 5 both have very similar hardware from AMD.
So AMD features will naturally be supported on both and it's not like -companies come together- or whatever he thought it was because it's the company of the hardware they currently use so why wouldn't they cooperate to make use of it?
I think it could even be illegal if AMD somehow refused to support a active customer without good reason or intentionally aided in some foul scheme with one to give them unfair advantages over the competition.

What good are all these -upgrades- with no games its nothing. And yes, im a xbox gamer. Not a Sony pony. Yes games are coming. But how long? We're 6 months in a have nothing. Absolutely nothing. Brand new console with no games. As far as a graphical and performance stand point Microsoft could've easily waited another year to release the series x. Sorry, im just sick of not having anything new to play. 6 months in and we have nothing. And it'll be 2 to 3 years at least before we see any true -next gen- titles.

Sony calls Microsoft out for the xbox one going for an all in one entertainment system... Then makes Sony Netflix in the next generation. Spoken from a ps5 and pc gamer. Really want ps now to be more like game pass price wise. Still happy with my choice as I can play Microsoft exclusives on my 3090. Ps exclusives on the PlayStation but if I didn't have a pc I'd probs be trading my ps for a series x

Yay sony just confirmed that it's not just Xbox but it's Sony as well. It's not Microsoft related it's just AMD package that's inside the PS5 as well that is inside the ps5 and will be available to Microsoft and Sony developers equally. Some tool package kits that IS inside the ps5 as well confirmed by developer and AMDs website. Go check it out
