I actually disagree with Jake on some aspects of this game. Primarily, the single player story is horrendous. It is unforgivably generic, cheesy and tedious. Any moment with Ms Marvel particularly, is ridiculously annoying.
However, playing as some of your favorite heroes with a pal is where it-s at.
The fighting is not perfect but it is satisfying and the flying and wall running mechanics are almost equally as satisfying.
I-m not going to put countless hours into it and would never give them a dime but if you have game pass and a friend or two, I-d check this out now

I'll be honest with you.. after going free on the Xbox game pass, I finally tried this game out! I'm very satisfied with the gameplay... as confusing as it was to start. Graphically, I give it an A+. The button configurations have grown on me. I'm still building towards my first level 50 but specking looks like it will be very fun! And overall, I really like the -instance- aspect of how multiplayer kind of meshes with the campaign mode!

1) Small/Lame roster that looks like dollar tree bootlegs.
2) Loot and Loot system is very disconnected and doesnt add to the gameplay loop.
3) Story/Quests/Tasks are extremely simple and repetitive.
4) The mere fact that they had the time, money and amazing IP to work with and came out with this feel like a slap in the face cashgrab to real fans.

It felt like a Live fortnite action game - and all u did was knock down enemies for most of the game and it wasn-t even in a cool way not to mention the game characters lacked costume variety and it was so dry we got catfished it was a one time story and not even free roam and from a 3rd person perspective.

The main reason the game was bad is because of the characters design and the playing style. Also the other reason is that they put an not well known protagonist and it was a female that nobody really cared for which is starting to get real old. I feel like that they were forcing people to like this game.

When I played the campaign, I missed 90% of the cutscenes because of how horribly buggy it was. I had to restart it several times just to get past a checkpoint. Although those bugs have been fixed now, the game shouldn-t have been like that at launch. Almost completely ruined the experience.

another thing about the game even tho i still play it, the reuse of maps is very common the game was not as i rememeber in the beta to be honest and i actuallly played the beta and didnt just do it for fortnite

Tbh I know it's not 100% a good game tho but it's still kinda good and I played it myself and plus I like things that are challenging and plus they'll fix the game with some more updates in the future.

I spent 90% of this game getting upset about the aberrated mechanisms then I rage-uninstalled it during the last mission... :D waste of time, the definition of good looking pile of crap
