Feels necessary to warn people: Do Not expect 8 years worth of content and polish in Dead Island 2. That's not how game development works. The project likely restarted from scratch 2 or 3 times and could even have only started development again in 2019 or 2020 for all we know.

this might be overthinking it but i think all these acquisitions might be dangerous for the game industry, Embracer Group with Eidos, Sony with Bungie, Xbox with Activision Blizzard (i don't know why i have this feeling but i just do)

I mean yeah dead island confirmed but the reveal that it's actually coming out would have been amazing and I would have lived to see peoples reaction but of course it leaked ruining that moment

Anthem at least showed that the technology is there to make a proper Ironman game with flight and all that now all we need is a good story and setting to make use of the flight mechanics.

Sad to hear Iron Man got cancelled. I enjoyed Spider-Man 2018 and Miles Morales. Not too excited about the possible Fantastic Four game though. I don t get the hype behind them.

As a dead island fan who s got platinum trophy in 1 and riptide, I don t care if dead island 2 gets bad reviews, I ll still get it regardless if there s a game 10 times better

With all of these studios being acquired and conglomerated into these huge publishers, I'm just waiting for a small company to release a surprise hit game to shake things up.

The rocket suit and missile launcher thing from Just Cause makes SOOO much more sense now. Rico character model kind of looks ironmanish while he's flying as well.
