10 Things In Video Games That Require Serious Dedication James: The Yakuza series as a whole requires a ton of dedication but trust me, stick with it and it will be a series that truly sticks with you, with highs, lows and emotional moments and the characters feel so genuine and real. it is an experience that will really stay with you and i really implore you all to try it. Some of the best gaming moment ever for me and i will cherish every moment (and yes, the wait for Like A Dragon Ishin is killing me)

You know what would be cool for a Superman open world. Make everything destructible. Like truly destructible. But make it so that you are severely punished in some way for destroying things for no reason. It would give you an actual sense of holding back your power as superman. That way if you want to pop a quick save and Go rampage as superman you can for the fun of it. But during actual gameplay you have to control yourself from destroying everything with just one punch or moving too fast

I appreciate every person whoever went out of their way to make guides for us. I remember as a kid going onto Game Faqs and looking up guides there to help me on whatever game I played. It really showed how the gaming community back then was much more constructive and helpful to one another. No one got paid for it, no one was sponsored nor had any ads. Just a solid gamer willing to put time to help other gamers, ones they'll probably never meet in person like myself. Thank you all!

Awesome video man! Wow I love that Superman demo gameplay there. It really bums me out that these AAA companies completely avoid Superman. Plus it s really annoying that they focus on Batman way too much. He s an awesome hero but he has 9 games, that s enough man. Seriously if these independent game designers can make a cool Superman demo, then Warner Bros(DC) can do the same thing. Hopefully one day we ll get an awesome superman video game(maybe with Henry Cavill.

Huge props to people still making gamefaqs guides for games that are not that popular. Currently playing the Switch remake of Digital Magical World 2 with a 3 year old and the only thing out there are two item/collection guides written by one single person 6 years ago for the 3DS version (with both Japanese and English translations. They also were the one answering all the questions on the forum. Truly amazing dedication.

For me it s completing a game that I think I m going to love, but start playing and absolutely hate, just because I spent money on it. Sure, refunds are easier to come by these days and with services like Game Pass you can try before you buy, but I remember a time when if you bought Superman 64, you were stuck with it. Might as well tap into your inner masochist and finish the damn thing.

I remember finding GameCube versions of the original Resident Evil games for like 150 bucks each back in the day. Of course that was before online stores and digital games were a thing and WAY before they remade it so I'm sure the games are more available now so maybe they are cheaper idk but I actually considered buying 2 but never could spend that much on one game

To all those heroes back in the day, writing walk-throughs on GameFAQs, we salute you. The only reason I found the second half of Castlevania: SOTN as well. I even had that walk-through printed out in a folder. All 88 or 89 pages of it lmao. It took over an hour to print out the full thing.

Community leaderboards like for speed running are the best. Where it must be a streamed run love to count and it s viewed by people who know the game inside and out to make sure it s legit. That s where the community shines IMO and those are the best kind of leaderboards.

I appreciate the dedication for speed runners but I don't like when a glitch mechanic comes into play. Feels like cheating a little bit. I might be in the minority with my opinion but it doesn't feel like a true speed run if you skip 75% of the actual content

I remember looking up and printing out like 200pg walkthroughs of major as mask cuz I was so young I just couldn t understand a lot of what was going on and those old guide were huge in understanding the ins and outs of games you love.

I'd like to add the original machinima shows and red vs blue, etc. It takes a lot of dedication to create an entire amount of lore and story based off of a video game and doesn't contradict the original lore.

Yes! OMG Would print out Gamefaqs guids all the time. My dad fixed printers and copiers so we always had a printer I had so many final Fantasy or other games I wonder if they are still stuffed some where
