after all the same sauce again and again by bigs companies, this game just feel like a gem. a must play and especially seeing the disapointment provided by recent games like forspoken and saints row, having such a clean and polished new ip appearing when we didnt even expect it just give me the GOTY Vibe. just like how elden ring slammed 2022, this game will certainly be on of the GOTY 2023 contenders

You Can't play the game the whole way through without paying attention to the rhythm, there's two bosses that are literally impossible unless you have some sense of whats going on plus the parry mechanics on the midbosses and on normal and above, the window around the beat presses is very small
You frankly can't beat the final boss of the game without using the games rhythm mechanics

The whole is greater then the sum of it's parts is the perfect way to put it bc I cringed at so many parts at it but I couldnt pull myself away from it. The quick time instances frustrated me so much but I could not put this game down. I finished it & found myself trying to traverse through the whole game once I unlocked all the characters. 9/10 game.

I was initially sold on this hopping in, but the deeper I got, the more I loved it. It reminded me a bunch of Ultimate Spider-Man for a few reasons. The humor, cutscenes, and the main VA, Robbie Daymond, someone familiar to the role of Spider-Man. This was such a breath of fresh air, I laughed so often and enjoyed the music the whole way through.

As someone who has played the game and enjoyed it, I have to say that this video really fails to do the game any justice. There is too much talking from Falcon as he often goes off-script. He digresses too often, and rarely shows what he is talking about. It's a video, you can stay silent for a few seconds to showcase examples

I m absolutely crazy about this game. It was funny, energetic, creative, and a decent challenge. And I could not love the rhythm aspect anymore.
My biggest complaint is that it feels like the jump undershoots most platforms and the double jump overshoots, so platforming can feel kinda bad and imprecise.

For me, the cutscenes were so well executed (technically) with such great characters and voice acting that I honestly always looked forward to every single one of them. But you definitely also have to like the style they were going for here and if you don't fully, the cutscenes could be a bit bloated

I am all about a story, really a show, if it's just audio, then it better be a good story, if it's some form of video,
the sum of the parts need to all work well.
this seems to do that, I love the real music, (not the sound tones preforming other-guys music)

the reason why the sound effects didnt get in the way of the music is the sound effects add to the music they dont have something different. Like your swings are guitar sounds and everything that happens makes the song not just the music you hear. at least that is what i heard.

This game is aweosome! This is the kind of AA game we we're needing in this industry, something fresh innovative and well made! The game is super polished by the way, I'm playing it a lot since launch and never had a a single bug, just fantastic.

Usually in these types of games I rarely bother memorizing combos, and I always end up just using the basic attacks, but Hi Fi Rush's combat is so simple yet fun that I ended up learning all the combos and using them all the time.

Bought elden ring 2 days ago. Haven't played anything else I'm addicted. I normally suck at these types of games but the open world and the fact I can level up before wanting to proceed has just been Awesome. I can't put it down

I think I was most surprised how solid the writing is. Some genuinely funny moments and you actually kinda like the characters as it goes along. This is coming from someone who didn't really like the artsyle at first either

This game really feels like it was made by indie developers, you can tell that lots of passion went into making this game as pristine as possible. The environments are beautiful, flashy and very detailed too!
