10 WEIRD Gaming Stories of April 2023 Jesse: Just a pro operator tip for those who don't want to commit war crimes: Before you walk past a presumed dead person, put a bullet in him. If he's injured, the second you take a step past him he is now officially a POW and you must tend to him and his medical needs. If you shoot him before you take a step past him, he's an injured enemy combatant who may still be able to fire at you. Also, it is illegal to use white phosphorus on enemy troops as it's deemed chemical warfare. But it's not illegal to use white phosphorus on enemy equipment. Thus the term, Shake and Bake is used. You drop a few rounds of high explosive on the enemy and they are now presumed dead. You immediately follow that up with white phosphorus to destroy enemy equipment. 100% legal and not chemical warfare.

About Ark. Absolutely nothing is stopping offline Play. So you, and a friend, can still play co-op. The way It really should be played: Split Screen.
Yeah, Multi-system Co-op is cool, and server shutdowns SUCKS, if you gould afford to play Ark Online, But honestly? Its still just as fun without those options.
(Also, why can't you link systems together wirelessly on a Non-internet connection and play Multiplayer? System-link was a fun feature that nobody takes advantage of anymore. I mean, yeah, it was pretty much a handheld gaming thing, but there is no reason that couldn't work on Home consoles. I mean, games like Dead Island or Ark: survival Evolved have offline modes, and Customized wireless networks are a thing, so why can't Two people who own the same game play Co-op by linking two Systems together Wirelessly, without Internet, as long as they are in the same building? Makes no sense, man. Makes no sense at all)

Unrecord is so real, that it's too real, i don't know, it's so real it feels weird. How did they do it, like realism in video games has always been about making the animations look very life like, but at the end, you will always know that it's animation; Unrecord is not looking life like, it is life like. If a small team can make something like this, then what are the big developers doing; and if this is the future of realistic video game graphics, will i be playing a literal depiction of future footballers(soccer) in future football video games. To be honest, this game makes me intrigued on the future of gaming.

Yeah the Ark thing was so weird to me. They offered an upgrade to Ark and you get Ark 2 at launch. I'm cool with that, like a preorder. Sure. But people complained so they were like fine, we will just charge you to upgrade, and later to can buy ark 2 for more too. And everyone was happy. It's like when you go to a grocery store, and you see 2, 8 ounce drinks for 5, or get 1, 16 ounce drinks for 7. Like yes, just give me 2 for cheaper. Why is this a thing lol

Unrecord: The Day Before Edition lol
For real tho, I'm super excited for Outlast Trials. It comes out May 18 and I'm definitely getting that. It's gonna be so good, especially since there's multiplayer. Also, the Golum game looks like Styx, which is ok cause the Styx games were really good stealth games. Also, if i want to commit war crimes in a game, then I'll commit a war crime. because it's a video game.

That EVE online 'heist' is kind of triggering me. That very same method happened to our guild back then in RF Onlne. These 2 new members observed our 'sleep / afk' time to do the deed. They took all of our guild's saving, messed the setting of our guild and went out. The most insulting part is that after a few days, those two sold their characters with the boastful information of how much in-game money it had.

i m a ark player and the first bundle was a joke. the second, is the remaster but with all maps and a new story map with 15 new creatures being added to ASA all included. unlike the first one that had ark base game and ark two then pay even more for the. DLCs we already have. yes it may cost but more in long run but they needed to treat the ASA and Ark 2 separately. it just makes way more sense.

if you see deeply how these people who are destroying the world became leader, you can see we have our equal hands in wars. it's ignorant to say it them who are doing the wars not me. because its the insecurity, identities, division of society these are the we live in daily life that get amplified on the world stage, we choose these people directly or indirectly.

Bowser did some crazy shit trying to pull this over on Nintendo, but he s obviously got some smarts. If someone was savvy, they d hire him to market and promote their tech, because he can obviously make some money.
Comeback story of the year?
I don t know the guy from Adam. Could be a real bad dude, so this is mostly a joke

Really feels like you misunderstood what Eric meant by voluntary.
Valves structure very free form, the games that get made are (generally) the games that the team wants to collectively work on at that point. Yes there's a hierarchy of sorts, but Gabe doesn't just walk into meetings and dictate who's doing what like it's the military

If that Sindarin expansion came with some additional things, perhaps some language learning materials in the form of a digital book, maybe some videos of behind the scenes interviews regarding the writing and linguistics, I could see a demographic existing that'd both pay a premium for that and really appreciate it.

ON ICRC - you forgot to mention they did it by spending donations, that aimed to primary purpose of org - helping victims of actual wars and actual war crimes.
in which they also repeatedly fail in every war happening.
good question stands - why anyone would still send them anything as donation?

Nintendo deserves to be hacked IMO lol. They make a lot of decisions that are like sadistic power trips for them. We won't sell you old titles or emulators. Oh and you're not allowed to make them yourselves. AND you'll still willingly pay us lots of money for anything we do make and you'll like it

Expecting 10 mil from that guy is kinda dumb. 1. You'll never get that money in full. 2. It's somewhat unreasonable, given how much money Nintendo makes. I mean, they make money off of every ip under their belt, probably even off the merchandise. 3. Nintendo is always boo-hooing. I love and hate Nintendo.

Don't get me wrong that unrecorded looks phenomenal and it's great to see the tech advancing like this but. is it just me that thinks it will take the fun out of games not even from a gate perspective but legit not being able to see an enemy in the distance behind cover etc
