Nier automata opening on HARD had me beat it in 2 days. 3hr+ in 1st day (then I gave up) and equal or more than that the next day. going in blind, I never thought I had to restart everything when I die. I played it on mouse and keyboard and dodging is kinda busted cause you have to double tap WASD to dodge and half the time it wont work, specially if you are constantly moving around. so I die and die over and over again, not to mention that the opening is like 45-50mins long. I spend more time on that opening more than any other Fromsoft Boss ever.

I remember beating Breakdown on normal difficulty by just using the ability to slow time and combo your way out when overrun by waves of TLAN and big TLAN. of course it will drain your power stamina but the strategy there is to block your enemy attacks while mastering the timing combo of punching and kicking, because it will be hard enough and frustrating when an enemy gets too close knocking you down so just run around them on the pillar and used the time to slow while you hit the combo punching and kicking them will do the trick to beat them all.

The final level of Armored Core: Last Raven was an absolute MFer. Not only was the final boss just ridiculously hard, but after you beat it you then had to escape all the while trying to survive an endless barrage of kamikaze drones. And it all had to be done in 1 shot.
If we're being honest with ourselves the list is probably too long to fully map out like you could literally make dozens of videos on this subject.
I'm actually kinda surprised you didn't mention Sniper Alley for Halo 2 (or that ridiculous boss fight vs an Elite)

They were designed by Sadists; for Masochists.
A Sadist wants to cause pain to specifically, other people.
A Masochist wants other people or themselves to cause them pain.
Also:
- Normal healthy player: Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?
- Masochistic/Dark Soulsian Player: Come On Baby; Make It Hurt So Good.
Sometimes love don't feel like it should - What, my name's John, it still works. Wait, is that a cougar, no. It's just Melons, camped.
To everyone that doesn't get the joke: Attack, with the killer tomatoes!

I think continuing cost of some games is more a crime. paying multiple times just to keep playing the full priced game you got, because a new dlc is released, is an insult to the devs work & an insult to the players!
And before anyone claims that they are entitled, remember that those same devs work is probably underpaid and in a state of permanent crunch.
(Remember, it is rare to find a corporation with the honor of a saint, usually they are more savage animal just trying to survive )

I'll admit it's been a while but most of the footage for Call of Duty: World at War appears to be taken during Downfall instead of Heart of the Reich. Heart of the Reich takes place entirely within the Reichstag with the clip of the commissar yelling Show courage. Show strength. Show pride. But show NO mercy. being mere seconds after the mission starts, with the exception of the final roof segment (which may or may not be a cutscene depending on what platform you play on.

Painkiller 's forest level. Just managing to meet the requirements you need to actually unlock it is torture enough (remember trying to get all the secrets in the Venice-themed level anyone) But then you get to the actual forest, and. my lord. I think it took me three weeks of playing an hour or two every night to finally beat this one. On the plus side, it has some of the best fight music I've heard in a game. A good thing too 'cause you'll hear a lot of it.

The jotunheim mission from god of war ragnarok. Hear me out: you just finished slaughtering draugirs and many others and you switch to Atreus. Surely you think it s gonna be as fun as his other segments right? Wrong! Have fun riding on a slow buffalo creature, collecting fruit, hearing that yell and collecting saplings. Honestly the only good thing about it is the gryla boss fight. It only tortures the mind than anything

Elden Ring, getting the Frenzied Flame. Games like this should not have precise platforming elements, dropping all the way down without dying. What's even more ridiculous is that the sprint button and dodge are the same, so you have to use the menu trick so you can sprint jump and not accidentally dodge back (and fall. Also, the game wants you to fall. You land on a platform and stand up. falling off.

Back when I was a kid i played that Spider Man game all the time, but the level that gave me the most trouble was the stealth level in Ocsorp. I always got caught by a guard, and maybe I just didn't realize you just hide from the robots, but once I heard that alarm sound I knew it was over. Also, those robots were freaking scary as a kid too! I had nightmares about that mission lol.

2: 10 And then die, and then die, and then die. Dieception.
7: 24 AVGN: WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!
14: 00 D'OH!
The trophy side quest in Minish Cap is also pure torture. It's not necessarily hard, just VERY tedious. How I managed to do this on legit hardware I don't know. I avoid this side quest on future playthroughs because it's not worth the hassle.

The gravemind level from Halo wasn't that ha-
. on legendary.
Never mind, I know what you are talking about.
Also, am I the only one who LIKES the needler? It is a situational weapon, use it at the right time and right way and it is extremely useful. Maybe the problem with it in this situation is that it is the wrong weapon for the job.

Not to brag, but I managed to complete the CoD: WaW campaign blind on Veteran. It took a lot of time and the hardest level for me was the Tet Offensive level, where it feels like the ENTIRE NVA is charging at you and the barrels weren't called out effectively, so I was running around trying to survive against an infinite wave.

About the mission from GTA San Andreas. Several of the game mechanics are tied to its frame rate, in this case, the fuel of the plane drains faster if you're playing with a high frame rate. You should enable the Frame Limiter, it will limit the frame rate to about 25 FPS and the fuel will drain at a more forgiving pace.
