From the outset this comment is as biased as it gets, since I am unabashedly a Sony fanboy and have been since the PS2. Now, I have seen various commentators talking about XBOX’s supposed victory over Sony at Game Fest and I can’t help but laugh. Games like DOOM: The Dark Ages (which is something I am really looking forward to) are not Xbox exclusives. Moreover my highlight of the event, and this is something I haven’t seen people really talk about, was Black Myth: Sun Wukong, which is presently only coming to PS5 and thus for all intents and purposes is an exclusive. I understand that Microsoft finally putting effort into XBOX warrants celebration from fans. But this idea that somehow Sony has been demolished by XBOX finally showing signs of life is a laughable overreaction.

I think most of you have this backwards. Sony knows exactly what they’re sitting on, but as a business, they want to maximize its profit potential. I’m not sure they have figured out how to do that, which would explain the lack of anything. Launching things outside of a broader strategy can limit future options. For instance, selling a remaster of Bloodborne for $60 would not be viable if you’d already unlocked the frame rate with a patch.
They’re not ignoring or forgetting about anything. If anything, they’re playing it safe so they don’t shoot themselves in the foot and undermine the game’s earning potential.
I know. It does not sound exciting or great, but Sony is a business and I’m just being realistic instead of saying what I hope for.

It makes me happy that they are remaking older games. They don't make mid-tier AA games much anymore. They've always been my favorite games just to have fun with. Lollypop Chainsaw was a fun game back in the day. There are so many games I would love for them to remake. Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico was a crazy fun game certainly not a great game but entertaining. I'd love for a remake of that. I also wouldn't mind a remake of Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and The Return of the King from PS2. Those games were mind blowing back then. I'd love to see today's graphics with these games.

Given the success of Elden Ring and the fact that Sony have been releasing a number of their exclusives on PC lately, Bloodborne on PC in some form seems like a no-brainer. There's a ready-made audience in Souls fans and a whole new audience of Elden Ring players, so there seems little doubt that Bloodborne would be successful. The question is whether they would just remaster it or remake it. There's no guarantee that From could be involved, even if they wanted to be. We don't know what they currently have on their plate.

I honestly loved the Xbox showcase! I love Playstation too, don't care about console wars though, I'm just here for the games, but damn there were some good ones! To the point where I can't even decide which was my absolute favourite one but one that definiteltly stood out for me was Expedition 33 plus I'm currently playing Starfield for the first time so all the new updates and content for it has been a welcome surprise

The further I get from the Xbox show the more skeptical I get. It was a great show and got me hyped in the moment, but looking back I have more questions than answers. The lack of dates, even for the games coming this year, and the lack of gameplay has me questioning everything I saw. Especially Perfect Dark. Was that even real I guess we’ll find out. Hope Xbox doesn’t trip over their own feet again

As much as I really love the tale of Yasuke and want shadows to be great I am not too terribly surprised by your first impressions on what you saw. It is unfortunately the same company who called Skull and Bones AAAA lol. I really hope it comes together though at launch or at the very damn least they fix it after like all the damn big companies been doing with every big game these days

I don't care about console wars, I just wanna be able to play games. I was excited for a huge amount of the Xbox games and the ones that aren't coming to Playstation I'll most likely grab on PC. I know consoles like their exclusives to help push their consoles, but it'd just be nice to be able to play whatever game you wanted and not have to own 4 different platforms.

I'mg glad XB had a great showcase. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't most of those games MultiPlatform minus being on PC/GamePass If so, why do people keep giving XB for the showcase when it could've been any platforms Showcase Don't get me wrong, I'm glad these games are coming to PC GamePass. Just seeing what I don't understand or missing here.

As far as AC shadow goes. After Valhalla I kind of stopped treating those games as AC games. Imo They can be pretty good just, as standalones that use the same formula. So I am curious about shadow just bc I love the fantasy and gameplay that the ninja char is offering (kind silently praying I won't need to play as the samurai a lot lol)

Only GREAT Assassin's Creed game to me was Origins. I tried playing more in the past, but never cared enough to see it through.
I do imagine if I played Black Flag at launch time, I would've stuck with it, but I was spoiled with AC. Went back to play Black Flag since everyone told me to play it. And. I have. But. Meh. Wasn't as engaging.

Bro I was just wondering today why Bloodborne wasnt on PC and boom, here's a video about it. I even searched for it on steam yesterday thinking maybe it did come out and I missed it. I believe it's being held back to be remastered and sold full price on current hardware but I will take it anyway I can get it if it's 60fps.

PlayStation needs to get its shit together. The Plus services are very underwhelming for the price. On the other hand, XBox has been collecting wins on that front. We are still waiting for big PS5 titles like the ones we had during the PS4 years. Costumer loyalty goes a long way, but.

Sony doesn't care what fans want. Sony only cares about what will fill their pockets with cash. Clearly they think Bloodborne, despite its popularity, only covers a niche audience and thus its not worth paying anybody to port it over (or they would have done so by now.

Rare Jake Baldino not enjoying something moment at 3: 02
It's totally fair of course but am I the only one that feels like this guy is always positive Not that that's a bad thing but it's wild to see him being like 'Ehh I don't like it' for an upcoming game, hah.

Can we just not buy COD games with campaigns only and therefore smaller install size Not everyone wants to play multiplayer. I despise multiplayer games. Original MW campaigns have been some of my favourite games.
Warzone, Fortnite etc makes me cringe.

Am I the only one who could care less about what xbox says and just wants to see what they do Like they've been making promises now for over 5 years and not delivering a single thing. I just don't know how people can be hype until they actually start releasing

It’s okay not to like Assassin’s Creed anymore Jake. My best friend gave up on it after the third I held out until Valhalla but I gave up on Mirage, just feels too bare-bones and dumbed down. So, it’s okay not to like a game series anymore.
