I wish you guys would do what your describing more sometimes. During the Hulk game you mentioned jumping off a tall building and throwing a civilian into the ground. I was waiting for it thinking it would look hilarious but it didn't show.
Then in Just Cause you mentioned breaking your fall with the tether, then proceed to use a parachute before tethering. I thought it might show up later on and it never did.
Otherwise great video as always but yeah just these small things.

When I first played Arkham Knight and flipped the Batmobile, I was like yeah Batman's strong but this thing is a tank. However, when I paid attention to the animation, it actually fires thrusters to flip itself back, which yeah, Batman would totally do that. Contingency for everything. That said, hitting people with the Bat Tank and it just gives them a little shock is ridiculous but still, he can do it. Because he's Batman!

Well. the use grappling hook to break your fall by aiming at the ground does have some degree of logic. If the hook is heavy enuff (and the grappling gun can fire with enuff force, the 3rd law of Newton may decelerate the operator enuff to a hypothetically survivable landing speed. Tho you would need to release the gun before it accelerates you towards the ground.

It's not the fall that kills you. It's the sudden impact. Falling on a car could save you. The roof collapses where the ground does not move, so you get a bit of absorption, and they actually tell you to do this if you're falling and are able to. Not like this, obviously. You would for sure have a full body cast

oh' i've heard of real people commiting insurance fraud by getting into a car, driving in front of a big truck, and slamming on the brakes.
a big shipping company took the step of equipping all of their trucks with Dashboard Cameras specifically to discourage that!
AND it was cost-effective!

Just so we're clear here. If you jump off of a skyscraper onto a couch the end result will be more or less the same as if you landed on car. In that the couch will only slightly slow your fall while it splinters and gives way to the concrete below.

You haven’t lived until you’ve killed someone with a teddy bear. The mechanics behind Fallout 4’s Junk Jet would be extremely improbable in real life, but I’ll be damned if the irony of killing a raider with a life preserver isn’t hilarious.

Jumping on cars is actually great. A small skill thing you can do in dying light. If you can control your character perfectly then you dont get any damage and if you don't then you die and loose a ton of survivor points. So its a cool mechanic imo

That NPC hulk picked up at 8: 10 has to be based off Tommy Vercetti from GTA: VC. The brown hair, tan skin, the baby blue collared shirt with black print(palm trees, blue jeans, and white shoes. No way that isn't a reference.

I think the car idea is based off of the fact that cars have suspension, so in the first game jumping a few stories and landing on a car that with displace your energy with the suspension is better than hitting concrete.

Look when you've got that much iron shrapnel in your body, it'll rust. You know what rusting is A reaction with oxygen! So if you pull out the shrapnel you've got more oxygen left for breathing. It's SCIENCE!

You used the a Keatan Batman picture for the Batman game so I was a tad surprised that you did not use a clip of the Joker with his handshake taser cooking that guy for Siphon Filter. Waisted opportunity lol.

Back in the day I remember play raven shield, among other games on pc, and having to download a rag doll mod. It was such a welcome addition to see the bodies flopping and flying all over the place.

Movies, TV, Cartoons, and Comics all subvert realty to tell their stories and entertain the audience. Videogames need to do the same. Hell, at least videogames stay consistent with their nonsense.

13: 06 I agree with that plus the story mode is hard to understand. Count on one of the reasons why I'd never finished it or even get off. The first mif I could figure out where it is

Every weekend I get up at 4am, make myself some coffee and yoghurt mixed with oat flakes and biscuits. Then I watch video from Gameranx and then I play video games for the rest of the day.

Number 9 isn't as unrealistic as Rally Cross for PS1. The car actually kicks out to turn itself over. Maybe Master Chief is a Magneto stunt double
Number 3 could be Handcock's sister

Happy 8 million subs GameRanx, huge shoutout to Jake and the Birdman Falcon for all their hard work and those in the background that aren’t in front of the camera often.

I always thought that the batmobile sends out an electric pulse that knocks back the enemies. they dont get knocked back from the impact of the batmobile but from the pulse.
