Looked up Predecessor on Steam. User ranking is 58% to 74%. That's not a particularly good start for a game that's been officially released for less than 24 hours. I'm not really into MOBAs in general. Not a single RTS or decent platformer (the Kong game looks terrible to me) to be seen anywhere this year but there is a janky-looking Indiana Jones game Bah. This is shaping up to be one of the worst years for games after last year's absolute deluge of Overwhelmingly Positive games (on Steam). most of which gameranx didn't even cover! The only game in this list that actually looks like it could be both interesting and fun is Herding and you put that at 15th place. You guys are making yourselves irrelevant.

It was a whole bunch meh and games that I don't care about. Maybe 10-15 years ago I would have been excited about these, but all I keep thinking about are the unfinished/buggy/broken games that get launched, the constant barrage of microtransactions in everything, the here are the 8 different editions of the game with varying prices, that all have 1 thing extra in over the previous edition that get released for games now, and how so many of these games just don't look or play like what we see in these videos.

Thank god somebody is releasing a game with local co-op. Soo many games these days don’t have the local option and you can only play co-op online. IMO the fact that local is rarely in games anymore is borderline insane. It used to be in almost every game and it felt strange when a game was solely single player. Do they not think that anybody has friends over anymore It would be nice to play something besides Mario Kart or Super Smash when you have a friend over

I really don’t understand why so many people are pissed off about Techland doing DL The Beast instead of a new DLC story for DL2. The 1st game was better and people complained about elements from the 1st not being in the 2nd. I would much rather have new content that not only continues the story from the 1st game but also introduces a whole new play style than have content that continues the story of the 2nd game and most likely would have the same play style.

Raven Soctware being put on CoD has always been my most hated decision by Activision.
Such a waste of talent when we could have had more great games from them that were NOT CoD.
Wolfenstein 2009, Singularity, X-Men Legends 1 & 2, the original Marvel Ultimate Alliance, even a so-so Wokverine game with a dedicated claw button and body damage degredation that was awesome. Ugh

I dont trust the new Indiana Jones game. It earned too many red flags during development. Bethesda is a mess since it got bought by Xbox. and XBox is game development poison.
Kind of a meh list. I was hoping for better announcements since its been so quiet this year so far. This fall is going to be one of the worst in a long time.

I assume King of Meat refers to (maybe) the fact that everyone is either a skeleton or skeleton dressed up to not look like a skeleton, and much like a very other similar axiom, In the land of dust and bone, the one made of meat (i. e. muscle) is King. At least that's my takeaway from this very limited look at that game lol

Bro just casually spoiled the ending of Dying light 1 without any fair warning. Can't trust internet these days huh. (Others pov: It's an old game, so what did ya expect. My pov: There might be many who haven't played yet)
This comment might feel petty/silly to others but a fellow gamer would understand.

I actually like these side-scroller/platformers with modern graphics. It's merging the most classic style of gameplay with the new. I'm here for it and can't wait to try Kong: Survivor Instincts. and you're right, there was nothing convincing about that voice actor's performance (yeesh) compared to the task.

Games not mentioned that I’m keeping tabs on are Directive 2080 and Unknown 9: Awakening. First is a space Dark Pictures game so, it’ll be cool. Second is a game that has been deceived as some of Banishers, Flintlock, and Forspoken. I liked all of those games so it’s right up my alley

Only MonHun and that Hades-/Megaman-(I don't see that)like game. Many uninspired copy paste games or Vol 712 of Farty McLootenson and Live service, sure - GameCom lost its relevance years ago, it's just an look at me, I need to be heard and seen-influencer event to farm followers

I guess it's good I watched this video 'cuz 2 minutes in and I'm already intrigued by the two games I had otherwise no intention of even looking into.
A Kong game where you play as a survivor in a 2. 5D sidescroller Never would've imagined but it looks cool.

King of meat looks fun. Marvels overwatch could be fun if done right. Nothing else really excited me. Except Dune Awakening, which I'm dying for. But I need to upgrade my toaster of a PC, or I'm looking at 2fps on the minimum settings.

It's not at Gamescom but the most excited I've ever been for a game release is Free Stars: Children of Infinity, a sequel to Star Control II, also known as The Ur-Quan Masters is in development right now and set to release in 2025.

To each their own but I just can't get into side-scrollers or platforming games. Mario Bros was fun back then on the NES, but I'm over it now. I do know that a lot of people really like them, but I just can't get into them.

Thats shocking that Coffie Stain decided to reveal a Goat Simulator remaster at Gamescom, but not reveal the fact that Satisfactory, their amazing factory building game, is about to launch for 1. 0 within a month

Can we get Civilization V Remake-Remaster with better AI, because the only issue with that game is weak AI and on harder it cheats to catch up, never liked Civ 6 and Civ 7 also doesn't look very good.

They need to re do the story for Starfield because it was completely non existent, what was there was so uninteresting it made watching paint dry more entertaining than playing Starfield.

Disney should make a Hercules game. I mean. Imagine. All the characters and story. Make it like a God of war but something new. Hit a like on this comment and force them to see it. :D

Masters of Albion is literally what Fortnite tried to do with save the world roughly Obviously with their own differences to make the games unique but basically the same game mode
