I liked ACI, ACII, and ACIV. Friends tried to get me to play Odyssey, but it didn't appeal to me. I caved on Valhalla, but due to how repetitive gameplay including DLC, grindy due to various currencies for upgrades, and over all burnout I just couldn't bring myself to finish the game before I uninstalled it. That was at 80 hours in of gameplay, and usually I like long lasting games, but not with Valhalla. Mirage didn't interest me, and over all Shadows just looks like a rehash with a lot of the same poor choices in gameplay. Not to mention a friend of mine showed me gameplay on hardest difficulty, easy assassination off, and the AI is just. beyond dumb that there really isn't any challenge cause it can be manipulated so easily. Also, there are still various levels of bad bugs still in the game, one is a collision glitch that will send you flying through the air similar to the GTA swing glitch, but dialed up to 10.

Jake, I frickin love the look of King makers, you look better sans stach, and I'm really happy that AC Shadows doing great, I haven't played it yet but I think it looks and sounds excellent, course I still am making my way through Oddysey, and really enjoying losing myself in wandering around the different random places and quests I naturally find myself running into. In my opinion the best way to play these types of games. Anyway keep on kicking it, n I'll be seeing you.

Jake I couldn’t disagree more with you with Assassins Creed Shadow. Huge fan, actually bought all games day one, but skipped Valhalla after a couple of hours because of the whole character undefined thing and it was too big for my free time, Shadows however has been nothing but great. Maybe you were not the one asking for a Japan setting since years. Or maybe you play with the audio in English Immersive is the only way it is the way.

Literally had Blundell opening his own studio on my 2025 bingo card no freaking lie but I'm even more stoked that it's going to be a playstation studio. That & new Naughty Dawg IP Announcement Is written on my 2025 list that have came true so far. What's weird is That PainKiller gameplay looks exactly like how I pictured Blundell's first game

Go watch the before you buy, sounds like ubi did a decent job. And the comments also suggest the game as been good. I hope for their sake it is. I know things have to come to the end, I doubt this will be the last Assassin's creed but if it is I think they did a good job

Considering how Darkest of Days went, I'm not holding my breath on Kingmaker turning out well. It also sounds like something that will get tired really fast even if it's done well in theory. More so when the NPCs in the trailer shown don't seem to react at all to the player.

I'm also still playing Cyberpunk and Ghosts of Tsushima, and I just bought the PS4 remake of Shadow Warrior, and I've only just had one game of it so far, but I'm having a ton of fun with it already. It's got the touch, it's got the power. Yea

10: 19 I actually enjoy the idea of the weekly artist shoutout. Gameinformer would do it and I really loved that part of the book. Jake shoecasing a gaming artist every week would be super cool.

I got into Arma Reforged and I'm loving it! But PlayStation (what I'm on) doesn't like to do the mod thing. The newest update is taking forever, because it's in PlayStation's hands on a release date!

Just a correction for you Jake: AC Shadows did not cross a million sold, they announced a million players.
If it had been units sold, I'm sure they would have said that instead of saying players.

Offtopic: your AC Shadow review was not out of line, it was actually too tame (like you usually do them) and you shouldnt feel sorry about it.
Meh games should make you mad, not reviews.

Looking forward to the Atomfall Before you Buy. Not into Kingmaker though. For me not having guns and modern military equipment is a big part of the attraction of Medieval fantasy games.

I'm not wasting my money on an assassin's Creed game where you have to toggle the option to have one hit assassinations. I'm perfectly fine replaying the ezio collection for the millionth time

The Army of Darkness game would look cool if it commuted to that or any style but making it look like pubg gives me some weird dissonance between the realistish look and the goofy gameplay

Painkiller - I will never forget big bosses moment from old trailers. No big bosses no fun. And nailing enemies to the walls with first 'gun' was quite unforgettable too.

Ive dropped minecraft in favor of scrap mechanic and hope the new steam rules nip at the heels of axolotl.
Just got gow ragnarok and been playing doom before that.

I've lost hope for Kingmakers. It's been three quarters since they postponed with an indefinite release date. I'm not sure if it's ever going to be released anymore.
