The relationship between Marcus and Kait is honestly one of the best parts of this new trilogy. There's multiple moments where they've bonded in their collective disappointment in JD. He's the perfect role model to have in her situation. He was imprisoned at the worst prison on the planet for 4 years, he's watched both his best friends and his father die right in front of him, his mother was executed by Queen Myrrah, and he to bury his wife and unborn child; but despite all that, he never broke. If anyone can understand and help Kait with what she's going through, it's Marcus. But no, she had to get stuck with smart-ass Del.
Don't get me wrong, Del's a good character, but he's not the kind you need for 2/3 of the game. Comic relief-explainy guy gets old real quick.

They can twist and turn these games but nothing beats the first 3. They should of back tracked on how the war started and how marcus ended up in jail but instead they make games where the locust keep surviving. I lost my appeal to the series after 3 as 4 was awful. I'm watching the movie because I can't be bothered buying the game and that's coming from me who was a massive gears fan. There is no point to the story and its repetitive.

Great story but i didn-t like the death near the end I felt the multiple choice took away from the impact of the death also with being very anti climatic I think this is the least impactful main character death in gears history I mean go back and look at the past gears Maria, Dom, Tai and even the carmines had better more impactful deaths than JD son of the main character

I think Del should die instead if I was MURCUS kill myself is not been in his favour his lost his son his wife his bother and his father and his mother and all of his love ones look this away make sense for JD because of the story that play out not DEL but this just my complaint about it

when I saw the choose who to save part I was like -so either they both live or they both die, because if one dies, then the GoW canon would split into 2 timelines depending on what the player chose, and they would need 1 official canon to make Gears 6-

(Unpopular opinion) Every movie, videogame or media in general that came out after 2016 that has a strong female protagonist is really hard to view as genuine and not forced on thanks to the new SJW standards that have been adopted in all aspects of culture lately.

The ending is so sad they-ve got to make a gow6. It-s sad to see James die since Marcus has gone through a lot in his life especially with his dad, dom, Anya and now his kid. I especially miss the old gears and like how they went more in depth with the campaign.

You could have cut out all of the skiff parts. Minus dialog parts on the skiffs that pertain to story. That probably would of shortened it by about an hour or 45 min. But all in all it seems like nothing has really changed. Locusts 2: Electric Boogaloo

I'm going to be honest. I feel like a majority of people (myself included for that matter) will choose JD to live simply because we don't want to put Marcus through more heartache. Not because we love JD's character but because we love Marcus.
