HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST Burning Shores Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 FULL GAME [4K 60FPS PS5] augustus: Despite everything ppl say, Burning Shores is quite good DLS and an important one for the Horizon's plot. But the 3d ending seems to me the most logical and suitable for Aloy as for her character. She's the type of woman who doesn't need romantic relationships. (There's just only one more character like this, and it's Elsa from Frozen. :D But I am going to do research for more examples like them! They are important)
Aloy can admire Seyka (and vice versa, there's a room for friendship and collaboration while fighting against Nemesis in the future Horizon 3, but romance? I'm sorry, but no. No time, no need for this, really. Not for such type of personality as Aloy's.
P. S.: This is my vision of the situation, and I will not answer to those who might argue with this comment in a possible future. I am strong in my opinion and vision of Aloy.
Thank you for walkthrough, MK! Amazing, as always.
Thank you, and RIP Lance Reddick. I will miss him and his talent a lot.

I'm so glad a friend of mine recommended this series to me a couple years back. At the time, Horizon seemed like the type of game where I would feel out of my element. The moment the storytelling and voice acting began in Zero Dawn, however, I was immediately hooked. not to mention the eerie yet beautifully designed world that pulls you in and leaves so much to be explored. I did find the game mechanics challenging to get used to at first, but it didn't take long to get into the groove of things. Forbidden West was a whole other vibe, and I loved witnessing Aloy's character development. You know a game is good when you grow attached to the characters. Can't wait to play this DLC!

I honestly don't understand how some people think their -relationship- is rushed. I mean, after all that? After all they've gone through together? Their time together might be a few days timeline-wise but, I think it's enough foundation for two people to be interested in each other. They're not technically married, so I guess saying that it's rushed doesn't make sense. Also, they had their moments together, and if you've experienced liking another person, then you won't fail to notice the signs.

Is there no PS4 version of this DLC? If so it's another ploy to get us all to buy a PS5 obviously.
Also I've seen people say that it's short, but this seems to be a run through of the main quest. When I play I will do all the side quests and I also tend to try to find as many chests and loot as many machine and human bodies as I can and I try to kill every machine I see to get their loot. I want to be as well equipped as I can and get as many skills as possible. That will make it much longer.

The game is proficient in taking a desire (to fight a horus) and build a story around it. It doesn't extend lore - as Frozen Wildes - but content largely to replay the last thirty minutes of the main game. It's therefore a gamer's game. I did think the last act was well-handled; you're not quite sure whether Aloy is being kind, or feels more toward Sekya which is a good way to leave it. From the perspective of just the core story, I'd rate it at 70%.

The way Aloy was acting all nervous around Seyka, it reminded me of how I felt when I met my wife. I was so nervous for Aloy, all while hoping she replicates her feelings and I am overwhelmed with joy at Aloy getting the beginnings of happiness. I tip my hat to Guerrilla Games for making me so attached to a character. Sadly, I won't be able to play the DLC due to it being a PS5 exclusive, but thanks to you for giving the whole playthrough.

While i personally am not fond of the first ending, mostly for personal and religious reasons, i can appreciate how well writen it was and integrated into the story overall it was, it felt like a natural progression of interactions between two people, it didn't feel like something that was forced into the story just to check a checkmark, like what a lot of other developers and writers have been doing lately.
reply

I can now understand why this is a PS5 exclusive. That bossfight was top tier in my opninion.
Imagine trying to load a city sized robot in 4K, full detailed, in 60 FPS and thousands of particles and lighing on a 10 year old console like the PS4. Bro that's a fire hazard right there ---
And I loved Lance Reddick's voice. Such a great actor. He will be missed.

Thank you for this. Due to Guerilla Games' decision to not make this dlc available on PS4, I can't play this unless its somehow made available on PC. I 100%'d hfw pretty much aside from a few things like armor upgrades and whatnot. I can't wait to watch this all the way through and see everything I wish I could see myself
reply

Very good DLC content now that the next phase of guerrilla games has started its very emotional the evolution of the character as the remain of a hidden force or rebelion sure the power of the machines will be a dawnfall, i love this game people.

That was a great playthrough MK. The Horus fight lived up to the hype.
The first ending you showed was a little bit of a surprise. but I won't complain about it, the developers are going to do what they want to do when creating their game.

I loved horizon, but the woke thingy has ruined this game for me. Not interested in the next game if there's a next one. But if we can focus on beta and have a none woke love interest if they really need to, then maybe ill give it a try.
reply

3: 33: 42 You could tell that whole sequence of hiding from the Horus' probe was directly inspired by the War of the Worlds movie, and I f-cking love the devs for adding that in.
reply

If I had a nickel for every time a guy named Walter is a manipulator, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's wierd that it has happened twice.
reply

They had to make that game woke. Well, we do not like gay stuff. I will never play that game. And I will make sure that my children do not play it either.
reply

With the nunber of men Aloy rejected, I thought she would have to get in line--- eitherway, I'm glad that Aloy isn't going to die single af. Well, kind of
reply

I'm guessing we won't see Sylens in Horizon 3 because of the passing of Lance Riddick. as such, his final line to Aloy was sweet and poignant. RIP Lance
reply

Seeing the first ending immediately I've started to raged against it! IDK why Sony wanted adult rated. Let's just be the Aloy from Zero Dawn. --
reply

It-s possible that Lance Reddick could-ve recorded scenes for horizon 3 before his passing- but we-ll just have to wait and see.
reply

That antagonist looked like Sam Witwer to me. Damn, the dude sure loves to work on games with a rich lore. Also RIP Sylens.
reply

I didn't even know this was a thing or that it even came out! Abd I beat this game 100%. How did I not know?
reply

I'm so heartbroken that we don't get that DLC for the PS4. The over 500- for a PS5 are still not possible for me.
reply

holy shit there's someone even more despicable than ted faro, damn
the bar was already low but. DAMN

reply

The character designers clearly smoked too much weed. What-s up with the ridiculous patchwork design?
reply

Still can't accept a DLC character took over main game characters, writers are idiots by doing this---
reply

Is there gonna a part 2? U did mention that this is part 1. is there more to this dlc's storyline?
