Both endings are bad.
-Good- ending: Captain dies (what is sad) and Sam gets no ticket home.
-Bad- ending: Tom gets his sub with nukes and can rule the world (what is bad. Sam get's a ticket home.
Btw. -MKIceAndFire: WORST gameplay ever. So many clipping and no story in your gameplay (side missions or whatever. I don't care if people don't like my opinion but hey, I'm honest, they are not and. I live in a democratic land: )

For anyone wondering about the actual number of enemies on the battle for the sub level, it-s not dozens it-s infinite. I sat there and killed over 200 enemies, I counted as I killed. Also this dlc is so much better than the two colonels. The only thing I disliked about the dlc was the animation was pretty rough, and obviously rushed. Objects were constantly clipping through characters hands.

Honestly, I feel like Tom taking Sam to San Francisco is not an error on the developer's part. I feel like maybe this is a setup for the next adventure. The navigation on the submarine was a bit screwed up, so they missed California by just a tid bit, and the next game could very well include Sam's travel across San Francisco to reach California, and then San Diego.

The voice actors are either really, really bad, or whoever made the script did a shitty job in explaining how to react to certain things and situations. The dialogue is at best straight out of a B-movie, but most often much worse than that, close to -anime bad-.

So, why couldn't Sam just hop in a life raft say, 10 miles off San Francisco, hit the detonator, and paddle the last few miles to shore? It takes Tom, and any possibility of him becoming a pirate with nukes, off the table while also getting Sam home.

I think this ending was better than the other one. Because Tom actually doesnt seem like a bad guy. If sam will be there i think nothing will go wrong in the future of this ending.

US is fairing much better than Moscow, No radioactive thunderstorms, and barely any demons spotted. Maybe each nuclear missiles have different effects after all.
