Everyone and their mother are talking about the numerous incredible things that the game does, but very few people mention the soundtrack. Personally, I think it has always been one of Half-Life's forte. -Sector Sweep-, -Path to Borealis-, -Hazardous Environments-. And now that one at 18: 00.
To think the very first game released very near my own birth and now I get to experience the very latest installment is incredible. I'm really hopeful Valve will seek this opportunity to get back into making games.

The game is like a movie. Very low difficulty level unlike the Original Half Life. There's ton of grenades, health machine, health injection just to fight 2 soldiers? And still the combine soldiers are coming one by one and not rushing in like HL1. So I conclude the game is more like a movie but that must be because VR is still in development stage so they can't put in a lot of Action like the earlier games. Change my mind? :)

This is clearly an awesome experience and the Valve team have certainly elevated the game to a new level. However, it is somewhat of a gamble as the VR platform is still a bit niche. It could either be a cool one-off or the start of a new era. we shall see.

I don't think that this half-life game lives up to the others' reputation. half-life 1 and 2 both innovated the first-person shooter genre. but what's new on this one? what makes this game different along other VR FPS games? other than that, it's a good game!

I'm confused. Didn't the combine invade Earth around 2009 or 10? Why are there still clunky 90s desktops around? I was using a Dell laptop when half life 2 came out.

so far its a lot of wandering and not half as many enemies as a half life game, this is like the Alien isolation stealth version of half-life, aka I'm bored.
