It is crystalclear to me: these people simply failed at writintg a good Star Wars Story. Pity the Star Wars License is still under EA's Cltuches. It's time to change hands. and go to a dev team which love and respect the Star Wars Universe.

If the star hawk was so important they should have had at least 5 frigates patrolling the dock yard with with a few corvettes. Around the clock fighter patrol would have been nice.
