Hope its a challenge on hardest in campaign, i heard the fleet battles in solo are hard but because ai cheat.
Should need to fly at fastest and skirt obstacles and fly low on capital ships to survive and avoid fire, and zigzag etc. Not just back up and line up shots.

Ok, seems interesting. But one thing I didn't like they did was have Lindon survive and escape. They had already wrapped up his story neatly by having him sacrifice himself, and be shot down by one of his former squadmates. Having him re-emerge served no narrative purpose other than to have him guide Vanguard squadron to safety, which personally I think would have fit better if the player stepped up. Not to mention having him be able to engage hyperdrive with a burning engine.

Love the game, only problem I have with it is that really there's no grand finale choice of empire or rebellion, where you fight and actually successfully kill the opposing pilots of the other side like members of Vanguard or Titan depending on the pilot you chose for the finale, I get why they chose to do it this way but it does take away on any anticipation in defeating the rival squadron based on the choice of the player, aside from that fun game.

There were strangely a lot of females in both High positions and pilots. It just doesn't seem realistic especially with the Empire being all about power so most Men tend to be very ruthless and squash anyone in their way. Most women are very reluctant to take any high-risk jobs like piloting so only a very select few tend to pursue such a position while the rest take a safer option.

I was hoping for X-Wing Vs Tie fighter or Star Wars X-Wing Alliance ( or even something like FreeSpace 2 I will buy it instant )
but sadly they didn't make single player campaign longer, the story is sloppy and too short. wasted opportunity: (
Maybe they can fix it up a bit if they allow players to make mods in Steam Workshop.

I liked the game overall but the fact that Javes doesn't die kinda takes away from the feeling I had killing him. It just felt so wrong killing him when I did it. I felt like the fact that he survives takes away from the emotional impact the game could have had.

Star Wars has so much potential, but then you remember that the Empire has to be the one-dimensional evil space nazis without nuance because good guys need to fight the bad guy, because they are good and not bad like the bad guys. but the game is fun

This game needs to be made into a film to show the audience to human factor from both perspectives. It humanizes two ideological ways of doing things without either taking the moral high horse like in previous films.

It's a gud game but wish the story campaign will be longer and interesting. if the DLC come out. hopefully they can give options to customize the Vanguard Squadron weaponry n tech on the jets
