The areas in the first game were well thought out, they made sense.
This game is all over the place, literally.
And what's up with the monsters. they're blind all of a sudden and they can smash through metal grates, climb walls but can't keep up with a pregnant woman? -
It's a pity, because what's there, in terms of the game's scenario and setting was quite interesting, despite some cheesy elements.

I actually really liked it. Sure, it wasn't as climatic as The Dark Descent or Machine For Pigs but still I had a quite enjoyable experience with this one. I didn't expect it to look so much like Soma in terms of locations (sci-fi stuff) so it was surprising for me. Some sections dragged a bit too much, some puzzles were a bit tricky and I got scared only once (though I'm a big fan of horror games and films so there isn't many things that can scare me) but I still consider it a good game.

There are 2 other ways at the game ends One way is you put the baby back in the bed and then you get a picture that may be your daughter as she grows up in that world and then you fall off some cliff I think what it looks like And the other way is that you take off with the baby and you go back to where you came in and go through the portal and you and your daughter live as she is 2 years old with you by her side And you guys are home and safe

Am I just an idiot or did anyone find this games puzzles annoyingly cryptic, it felt like the pacing was an absolute slog for me until I started using this guide because I'd walk into an area and wander around for like an hour straight missing something i needed for a puzzle. Maybe I'm just terrible at puzzle games lol but I love horror and great stories so this guide playthrough was helpful

Thank you for this gameplay. I just completed it with the give the child away version. This was not my kind of game but watching you play it got me curious and it was free on game pass for PC. I absolutely loved this game and hope they do another. Some of the puzzles are pretty tricky and I'll admit you got me past a couple. Thanks. Can't wait to see wait you'll get me playing next.

If I wanned to read I'd go to Amnesia wiki. Puzzles are idiotic and all over the place. Uninstalled after 2 hours. This game doesn't even come close to the Dark Descent.

1: 25: 04 This part with the plank was ridiculous. I'd already shoved it out of the way like all the other random stuff in her path so had no idea later that that's what I'm supposed to use for the elevator, with it sitting on the floor in the darkness. Why not make it an actual retrievable/inventory item like the winch. -

So there are four endings. Cool.
1) Kills the spirit and she and her baby die
2) Leaves the baby with the spirit to live, she becomes a monster
3) Escapes through portal, lives whatever time remaining with the kid
4) Same as 2 but not willingly, she gets dragged after enough light absorbs her.

honestly I probably would've enjoyed this game better if it was its own stand-alone game, but it just didn't really feel like an Amnesia game in my opinion. Frictional games are still the masters of horror, but I honestly just don't think they're ever going to beat Amnesia the Dark Descent or SOMA

MKFireandIce is a man after my own heart. I literally have panic attacks when I get jump scared in games so I love watching his play throughs and being able go know when and where without having the person stop for 50 minutes too make shitty jokes about a statue or barrels

WoW! this game's story is in my country, another visit to Algeria after Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. Glad to see it. Algeria is a big country with so much history, it's sad that it's ignored and not considered as Touristic country. I wish my country the best.

I loved this game! I ended the game with a different ending, left my baby in the cradle. The achievement said she -Left daughter in the care of God, was reborn- so that ending for me was worth it.

Constantly rubbing the belly, annoying. The cut scene each and every time you die takes way to long. Really slows the pacing of the game down too.
