The Krauser intros were done better in the original as well. And yeah, the voice (even character design) was better. They've been doing somethiny weird with the designs since 7 and I don't think it can be chalked up to simply using a different engine.
Missed a few of the iconic Salazar scenes too. He feels like more of a footnote this time. And even the fight with his bug dude in the basement had better buildup in the original. And their casting decision for Ada's voice actress makes absolutely no sense to me. Sometimes just because you can change something doesn't mean you should.
BUT as a remake it still looks like they've done right by it. The original won't be topped, but this is also far from a RE3 copout.

Best way to get through the obligatory stealth mission? Have all the enemies have at you in the front of the stage and then loot after they all die and forget about the worry of being spotted to begin with. Iconic.

This remake is perfect. One can feel the OP Re(2+3+8 ) remake vibes. Starting from Flame head, spike balls to the scientific laboratory, you can find literally everything in this game. Kudos to the developers.

Btw, what happened to the black cloaked verdugo from Salazar? In the original it fused with Salazar in his Boss Battle, but here it just stops appearing.
