There is basically an alternate timeline where Liu Kang basically didn't take the whole -chosen one- destiny thing serious and just chose to become famous for his martial arts skills and winning many martial arts contests and he accepted that fame. Like, did -global martial arts star- Liu Kang even have to deal with the outworld nonsense and stuff? Either way, he is probably the most chillest version of Liu Kang I have ever seen so far.
As some might have already said, Liu Kang basically became Johnny Cage in that timeline. I kind of like that. I wish to see more of this -global martial arts star- Liu Kang a little more for some reason.

I like how the intro it's like Injustice 2 rock-paper-scissors mechanic where you deflect I don't remember how the mechanic works or what it's called deflect your opponent's attack on both of them Clash then they have some banter and then through a rock-paper-scissors mechanic one of them might win or tie but the battle still continues it kind of reminds me of that only way more slower is there a way to speed up the battle while still having the character taunt to each other?

Don't tell me Liu Kang's New Era timeline is way worse and messed up due to the fact when he told his double about Onaga, he said that he rules it. Maybe he was the reason why Shang Tsung still exists after hitting the Thanos Snap, made another cowardly deal to powerful, conquering bad guys.
