The expanse universe has all;
1. Planets and belts to explore with your ship,
2. Various factions like earthers, mars, belters, syndicates, aliens.
3. Different planets and belts space stations having different biomes.
4. Truly intriguing politics between all the factions
5. Space wars
6. A mysterious story about the alien tech and who controls it
7. managing your ship and crew along with recruiting more members to your ship. Along with ship customisation.
8. Characters you care for and possible relationship and friendship/enemy pathway storylines with critical choices.
9. A doomfall enemy similar to Reapers from Mass Effect and Nightwalkers from Game of Thrones
10. Enough storyline to run for a trilogy (more if we include the exploration of worlds beyond the ring)
I could go on because The Expanse is one of the greatest Sci Fi shows ever and one of the strongest SCIFI IPs after Starwars and Mass Effect. I imagine a game like starfield would have the potential to be set in the Expanse universe.
Sadly this game looks like a cheap knockoff and not what i wanted from such a strong IP like The Expanse. I am happy, this universe is getting some recognition after being criminally underrated and going to the lengths of being cancelled due to budgetary constraints.

Can't get into it. The blind choices 50/50 nature leads to a meandering character. Drummer isn't Drummer, she's just random. I mean even decisions about her ship she should know 'laser crystal is heavily occluded' means that it's ruined, and Maya can't do shit, but, -Hepr Depr, Get Maya to dooo eeeet! - is still a (from the limited knowledge of the player) valid response? Nah, just ends up making her look like an idiot half the time.

Something about the UNN Urshanabi interior design is off. The hallways shouldn't span in a longitudinal way with the ship, the floors should be perpendicular with the ship's hull, like a skyscraper. So in the spacewalk scene at 27: 30, Drummer (Player) should be jumping off a level with no -ceiling- and then enter the other half of the ship through a hole in the -floor-. I bet their level designers weren't an Expanse nerd-

3: 04 I worked on that shot at Deck Nine Games as a junior animator. I am doing my own playthrough no DunamisOphisGameplay. I can't get my animation reel until all of the episodes are released. I added the finger point with Cox because I thought it would look cool haha. The game turned out good.

Definitely not the character I wanted to play as. Her voice will get irritating fast. And frankly, this IP deserved way better than Telltales style of game. Also should have had a 100% realistic art style for the character models. Not whatever this is. Damn this is a waste of a great IP. What a shame.

Wow, an actual episodic game. I can't lie this is gas af (despite never watching the show) I hope Telltale can pull some of the old betrayed fans back because it worked on me lol.

random thing I noticed: The proportions are off. If somebody is that close to Jupiter it would still be a long way down, but Jupiter still looks a lot bigger.

Such a shame that the series was cancelled. One of the best science fiction series of the last few years. At least it's stopped at its peak.
