Base Liu Kang is about 2. 5x stronger than Base Shang Tsung (liu is more of a match for Shao Kahn who he beat and he is at least 2x stronger than ST)
Revenant Liu absorb himself and he was at least 1. 5x stronger than Base Liu (darkness mastery) Liu fusion is now 5. 5x-6x stronger than Base ST.
He fused with raiders power who is 2 to 3x stronger than Base Liu. (Based on raidens fight with fused revenant liu) fire God liu would be 8-9x stronger than Base ST.
Shang with the crown beats Shao and sindell so with hes 4-4. 5x stronger.
He absorbed Sindell and Shao assuming those 2 around the same power level. Shang is now 4x stronger than before. 8x Base level
He absorbed Kronika who wasnt too strong. Let's assume she was kahns level. Shang is now 10x stronger than Base.
So it's pretty close it all depends on Kronikas power level. To determine who's stronger

looking back at this: i have a pretty good theory on how the two endings tie into MK1. since liu kang won against shang tsung in the good ending, he was able to revisit a new version of the past timeline with the great ancestor of kung lao and change history.
but because shang tsung won in the bad ending, he had the power to invade other realms, including alternate timelines. which might explain why he was able to invade liu kang's new era.

In my opinion shang's shung ending is boring. I mean after all realm are yours. then what? you just sit there doing nothing while watching people worships you? that's it? For how long? eternity? I mean Liu Kang's ending open so much more option right, he even still opens the mortal kombat tournament. For. I don't know what besides people Killing each other gruesomely. But its more variations.

I absolutely called it. I knew this would happen after seeing all the trailers and bios, especially in liu kang's bio where I realized that it has to be MK11 shang tsung, and I predicted how the final battle would cause both endings to happen

I'm still confused. So if there is a Mk12 Kotal will he be alive or not? Kung lao doesn't exist anymore but great kung lao will. Will Takeda and Kung Jin comeback? Is Kitana now married to him? Is Sonya coming back? What about Kano? I'm sure Liu kang doesn't want Kano.

I don't know if anyone noticed this detail, but when Shang absorbs Sindel and Kahn's souls, the soul tornado (so to say) on Kahn is thicker and more opaque than the one on Sindel. This is because Kahn himself eats souls, so he may have more to take than Sindel.

While most commenter says, that Liu's ending is canon. I see a lot potential with Shang's. Lots of new characters to be introduced as he invades Order, and Chaos realm. Maybe some interesting alliances between normally mortal enemies to take him down.

The best part is that Shang Tsung dies bloodlessly, simply fading out. A fitting fate for the one who was the original villain of a franchise whose gore single-handedly created the age ratings.
