1) Copy from injustice game which already was goofy in first place.
2) Awkward pause they have end of dialogue staring at each other if dialogue ends too soon.
Mk11 intros were much better but i understand this is easier to make.

It seems like the mirror intros get better with each new game. I like how they are adding in movie tie ins. Also the one where Lu talks about Onaga should be a hint at him being the main boss of this game I wonder who will have the best mirror intros?

I like to believe that the first dialogue is from the characters in the current timeline, and the 2nd dialogue is from those from the different timelines.
