Lol I remember that scene caused a huge uproar in the MK community with MK9 that the developers issued somewhat of an apology for that scene but I thought it was neat. The MK1 scene is more believable though.

Alot of the attack can be just dealt easier effectively if they just counter defend, deflect, and most importantly put their hands up level with their nose
